Wkly Hit List, 7/5/2025

Happy Fourth of July Weekend, KlicKNettars. We hoped that everyone was able to enjoy themselves yesterday despite one BIG UGLY BILL taking the air out of all the fun. We also hoped everyone had fun with their families by going to the beach, or cooking on the grill in their backyard, or watching the fireworks overnight. It certainly feels like summer, and it's just getting started, we know this because the summer's biggest events have started to arrive in theaters with Jurassic World: Rebirth leading the charge. KlicKNet Productions is trying to make a movie of its own this movie, but finding the people willing to help raise the money is key, and I think we might just do that. So, remember to make a contribution on IndieGogo through the following link: indiegogo.com/projects/rhodey-ny. Rhodey, NY is not the only thing we're thinking about, we're planning to celebrate 10 Years of KlicKNet on this blog, and Five of them will be celebrated on our YouTube channel later on. We'll have more details on that soon, but for now here is this week's 5-Day Rounder.

“Rhodey, NY” Campaign Video 🏙️🎬🍎 – Extended Cut

Our Inside Scoop this week is about the Fourth Episode of Marvel Television's Ironheart that dropped this week on Disney Plus. Before it did, we were overly optimistic about the final three episodes because Ironheart, as we've said before, is the last project of Phase 5 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Phase 6 starts at the end of the month with The Fantastic Four: First Steps. But we have a few questions regarding the ending of the series, and we're gonna talk about them next week when we recap Episodes Five and Six. I thought it would be cool recapping Episodes One through Three last weekend, but it delayed what we already had scheduled so we cannot make the same mistake twice this week. So therefore, we're only going to talk about Episode Four of Ironheart and then call it a day. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Ironheart Episode Four, stop reading now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest.

Parker Robbins, aka The Hood, has come to suspect that Riri Williams was the cause of his Best Friend John's death, and Riri is just starting to realize that Parker is on her trail. But things get even worse than that, because Zeke Stane has been arrested for the heist that Parker's crew committed in the last episode, this is because Riri left behind the biomesh that Zeke gave her, and now he hates her for it. Poor Riri can't explain herself to him and now she has made a new enemy, and if that wasn't enough, now her mother Ronnie Williams has become involved. So she decides to rely on the help of her friend Madeline Stanton who runs a candy and magic shop in Chicago with her daughter Zelma, and that's when things start to get a little strange if you get my drift.

Is is revealed that Madeline once studied mystic arts at Kamar-Taj and she and Zelma are aware of Doctor Strange, but Madeline decided to dropped out when her daughter was born and felt that Kamar-Taj was the not best place to raise Zelma who thinks otherwise. Of course, Zelma has hone her own kind of magic while growing up in Chicago, but you can tell that she still needs proper training. Anyway, the two of them take Ronnie and Riri to a secret magic room that Zelma has set up, where they help them examine the fragment of the hood that Riri got from Parker. It is discovered that the hood is from a dark dimension that is likely influencing Parker, but then Madeline abruptly usheres Riri and Ronnie out of the shop when something about the hood shakes to the core. After this experience, Ronnie and Riri get into it, all throughout the episode we see Riri struggling with everything going on in her life with her mom, Parker, Zeke and N.A.T.A.L.I.E., but now she add another person to list in her friend Xavier, who reminder is the brother of her late best friend Natalie.

get into that later, but first we find Riri in Zeke's bunker trying to find a way to destroy the hood, but she cannot find a solution. So Riri takes her suit out to clear her head, but has N.A.T.A.L.I.E. pull over as she begins to have a panic attack. N.A.T.A.L.I.E. lets her out in a junkyard, then flies off to get some help. She heads to Xavier's place and ushers him into the suit before bringing him to the junkyard where Riri has finally recovered. Right there and then, N.A.T.A.L.I.E. projects herself to finally meet Xavier, and he is horrified to see what Riri has done with his sister's image, and I think he has every right. You see if I wanted to honor my sister, if she was dead which she's not, I wouldn't pretend like she's still alive by creating a digital image just to give some comfort. Xavier tells Riri to delete N.A.T.A.L.I.E. ASAP before walking away, and Riri hesitates just long enough for N.A.T.A.L.I.E. to get offended and fly away with the suit. In the midst of all this, Parker breaks Zeke out of jail and recruits him as Riri's replacement, and the crew assists Zeke in implanting bionic enhancements in his body, so it looks like Zeke is about to become a "SuperFREAK," you see what I did there. Of course, little does Zeke know that the crew has secretly given Parker control of him, that's because Parker is seeing red and he sends the crew to kill Riri, whom he blames for John's death.

My overall review of this episode is as followed that Riri has a lot on her plate, she regrets being apart of Parker's crew, getting Zeke into trouble, and not being more opened with mom and Xavier. I lot of people, including myself, have trouble being opened with the ones we love but I'm pulling for Riri to make things right in the next two episodes. Like I said before, we won't talking about Episodes Five and Six next week, so let's call it a day.
