Wkly Hit List, 5/17/2025

We've got a great post for you this week, and I know that a few people are disappointed that "big beautiful bill" was blocked by House Committee in Washington, DC yesterday, but let's look on the bright side. The schedule for the 2025 National Football League Season was released this week, and if you think you're favorite team has the easiest schedule for the next season, give yourself a round of applauds. But if you're team has the hardest schedule heading into the next NFL season, then you better pray your favorite team get at least one regular season win. Of course, your favorite team had better found a starting quarterback before the 2025 season starts because who knows who might win the Super Bowl in 2026. Elsewhere, the 5-Day Rounder has five amazing stories that you'll wanna hear, including the one talking about a certain "streaming service," feel free to take a look at them and see if one of them can you laugh.

Here's a new update on Rhodey, NY: I announced on social media that pre-production for NickCam spinoff project has begun, but at a very slow. There's a lot to do when attempting to direct your own movie; the same thing goes to those who build their own YouTube channel from the ground. KlicKNet has had some great viewership, and it's about to get even better because Five New Episodes of FakeTV Box ready for editing. Though let's not forget about the 7-Part Vlog Series: FakeTV On Deck - The Sequel, the first two parts of that are ready available to watch right now on YouTube, and the last five are coming soon. While you all wait to see what else is happening on the Odyssey of the Seas. Right now, we wanna show KlicKNettars Part Two of FakeTV On Deck in what is likely the BIGGEST Vid of the Week, though there even bigger videos on YouTube than this.

Our Inside Scoop this week is all about basketball, everybody loves to play it in their backyard, or at the gym, or at an arena like Madison Square Garden. Speaking of which, let's talk about last night's NBA Playoff Game between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, a rivalry that leaved up to all the hype in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. We have never seen a playoff series quite like this one, I mean everybody loves a underdog and the Knicks were the ultimate underdogs going up against the Celtics who, won more than 60 games in the regular season and were favored to not only win the Eastern Conference Title, but also another NBA Championship. But somehow the Knicks managed to flip the script on the defending NBA Champions and shock the whole world in the process, it all started when the Knicks won the first two games after trailing by at least 20 points, the last play of both of those games was the Knicks' defense stopping the Celtics' offense from getting a game winning shot. The Celtics would win Game 3 at MSG in blowout fashion, but most people including myself believed that Game 4 would be the one to determine the whole series, and it did. The Knicks had been leading in the fourth quarter of Game 4, but the Celtics lost so much more than that when their star player Jayson Tatum suffered an Achilles tendon rupture, on the court and on the very next day, he got a MRI that confirmed the injury and he had immediate surgery to repair it.

Of course my heart goes out to Jayson Tatum, no one deserves to have that happen to them, and a big shoutout to the Knicks and fans for showing sportsmanship when it happen. Heading into Game 5 at TD Garden, the Knicks were leading the series 3-1 and all they needed was one more in to get to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years. For the Celtics and their fans, it was all about honoring their fallen player and they did so with a blowout victory over New York. So then the focus shifted back to MSG last night in the Knicks could end the series on their own home court, but before we get to that I wanna address something else. While this series was going, it seemed like Knicks were winning games on the same the New York Mets were winning games, and whenever the Knicks lost so did the Mets, and keep in mind that the signature colors for both teams are orange and blue. To me it just a coincidence which proven to be true last night when the Mets lost to the New York Yankees in the first game of the Subway Series, while the Knicks were victorious at MSG.

Some will say that this was one of the most important game every played in Madison Square Garden as the Knicks have never been to the Conference Finals since the year 2000. What better way to get there than to give the Celtics, a team that beat them four times in the regular season, a taste of their own medicine? They led by more than 40 points over Boston who proved that without Tatum, their chances of repeating as champions were over. Knicks fans were going crazy from inside of MSG, and outside, 'cause even though their hometown team have't won the championship yet, it still felt great to celebrate the fact the Knicks made it past the second round of the playoffs for the first time in 25 years. So now, the New York Knicks will host the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers who prior to last night defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers who won more than 60 games in the regular season and look liked the odds on favorite throughout the playoffs to win the NBA Finals. But now the #1 Seeded Cavs and 32 Seeded Celtics are eliminated and now we're in for a battle between the Knicks who came in the third place in the East and the Pacers who came in fourth. Last year, New York and Indiana compete in the Conference Semifinals in which the Pacers won in seven games against a Knicks team that had been losing key players due to injuries. There's even been this rivalry going on between NY's Jalen Brunson and Indiana's Tyrese Haliburton which somehow made its way to the WWE. But things have changed this year, the Knicks look far more healthier and they will face the Pacers this Wednesday in Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals at Madison Square Garden, who knows how that will turn out.
