Wkly Hit List, 4/27/2025

Welcome to a very unique Sunday edition of the Wkly Hit List. Quick note: We're gonna be off next weekend as we'll be lending our talents to new film project. Of course, it's not RhodeyNY, but we still hope to move that to production this summer. Last week, we announced a new multi-vlog series on our YouTube channel, FakeTV on Deck: The Sequel; detailing another trip on the Odyssey of the Seas from Royal Caribbean, that event happen next month, and I said last week, that KlicKNet was pace to doing 13 new episodes of FakeTV Box, but now after this past week that number has climbed to 14 new episodes. 2025 may not be the best years for others, but for us it's the perfect year to celebrate three major accomplishments. First there's the 10th Anniversary of the KlicKNet brand which was founded in the Summer of 2015 on this very same blog, then we'll be making the 200th Episode of FakeTV Box, and celebrating Five Years of KlicKNet on YouTube. Here's something to celebrate right now, a brand new 5-Day Rounder.

Colorado Quarterback Shedeur Sanders remains undrafted after the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft

KlicK

By the way, Shedeur Sanders was finally drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 Browns, but the funny thing is, the Browns had already drafted a Quarterback (Dillon Gabriel from Oregon) in the third round, but I guess they felt sorry for Sanders and decided to do him a solid. Who knows what the Browns are gonna do with two new quarterbacks, but moving on, as I said before KlicKNet is on pace to making 14 new episodes of FakeTV Box. We've already uploaded the first of those 14 episodes on YouTube this past Friday. In Episode 172, the show introduces Omari Alexander filling in for Kwame Alexander who is on assignment with the FakeTV on Deck series, but more importantly KlicKNettars will be given the chance to see Omari react to the final trailer of Marvel Studios which is set for released in theaters next Friday, May 2nd. We recommend a lot of people to see this movie, so much in fact they can watch the final trailer themselves in our Sneak Peek of the Week.

Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* | Final Trailer Reaction – FakeTV Box

Our Inside Scoop this week is as promised, a recap and and review of the Season One Finale of Marvel Television's Daredevil: Born Again, streaming now on Disney Plus. There won't be another Marvel Television series until Ironheart, a project that a lot of people have been waiting for since it was first announced in 2020, of course through Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, we got a small taste of what the main lead of Ironheart, Riri Williams, is all about. I can't tell you all how hyped I am about this show coming in the summer, but first we gotta through the last episode of Born Again Season 1. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Daredevil: Born Again Episode Nine yet, then stop reading now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest. I wound imagine that everyone has seen the season finale, so here at KlicKNet we don't need to worry about spoilers.

Now during the season finale, it has been confirmed that Wilson Fisk's wife Vanessa was indeed the one who hired Dex to kill Foggy Nelson because he was working on a case which could have exposed her secret activities in Red Hook, Brooklyn, New York. Of course, Poindexter agrees to this as Vanessa has promised him his old life back in return. So now fast forward to the present, Dex in his Bullseye suit has attempted to shoot the Mayor until Matt Murdock has the shocking decision to take a bullet for his long time adversary in front of everyone at the Black and White Ball. So much of Matt's blood is on Fisk's white suit and he tells Vanessa he knows about her and Bullseye, but it looks like he has come to forgive her. Meanwhile, Matt has been rushed to hospital and comes to hear the voices of Heather and Kirsten, sometimes I forget that Matt is blind so he can't really see how sad they are. They're both glad that he's okay, but Matt has other things to worry about as the episode plays out, he tells them that Vanessa had Foggy killed, although Heather finds it all very hard to believe and leaves Matt to rest.

Mayor Fisk is on the warpath after nearly being killed, so much that he cuts off the power to New York City, then he's gives the Anti-Vigilante Task Force  or in better terms a pack of Punisher fanatics — the green light to go after anyone they so choose, whether they're a vigilante or not, pretty cold if you ask me. Now because the power has gone out for the entire, the hospital that Matt is staying at has gone dark. This allows Buck Cashman, Fisk's right-hand man, to try and kill Matt on Fisk's orders, but Matt manages to escape the hospital and head back to his apartment where Frank Castle is waiting for him. Castle has come back, with a new haircut and clean shave and all, to reclaim his stolen iconography from the band of so-called "officers of the law" who are violently corrupt — whether Matt agrees with Frank's lethal methods or not. This is the reunion that we Marvel fans have waited for a long time, Daredevil and The Punisher take down tons of AVTF officers, including Officer North who is revealed to be the one to have killed Hector Ayala earlier on in the season. Daredevil is reluctant in killing North, but sure enough he and The Punisher have to move because the Matt's apartment is about blow, the two of them make it out alive. Once they're outside, they are both greeted by Karen Page who asked Frank to aid Matt after learning of Dex's escape.

Fans must have been really over the moon to see these three characters from the OG Daredevil series back together for the season finale of this new show on Disney Plus. But it's not all rainbows and sunshine, aside from the fact that it's nighttime in this episode, the streets of New York City are in complete and total turmoil, because Mayor Fisk has indeed declared war on anyone he deems to be a vigilante. This brings us to NYPD Commissioner Gallo who does not support Fisk's unconstitutional actions as Mayor one bit. He attempts to flee the city but Fisk's campaign director Sheila Rivera exposes Gallo's attempt to undermine Fisk, and what happens to Gallo will be talked about for years, not just among Marvel fans, but among people who are look for great television. The Mayor of NYC takes it upon himself to publicly executing Gallo with his own two hands before his loyal supporters in the NYPD, and I have seen something like once before on TV, but to see Fisk squeeze Gallo's head like a melon and all the blood spurt everywhere, no human being should be able to do something like. Meanwhile, Matt, Frank, and Karen are scouring the war-torn streets of New York City to find as much evidence as they can against the Fisks, and once they've track down Foggy's case, they discover that the Fisks are trying to establish a city-state in Red Hook. Frank goes his own way and runs into the AVTF in Red Hook, they believe it's a pleasure to meet the man they have idolized for so long time. They believe they do what they do because of Frank, but Frank is not impressed, amused, or even flattered, he just want to kick their butts, although it's kinda hard for him to do so when he tied, so the officers beat him up instead.

In the last few minutes of the Season 1 Finale, Fisk declares martial law, outlaws vigilantism, and with Vanessa by his side, he imprisons Duquesne, Frank, and other dissidents in Red Hook. He even offers Heather the position of Mental Health Commissioner, which she accepts, this moment has me thinking that we should keep a close eye on Heather next season. As the episode comes to an end, we see Kirsten one last time and who knows where she stands come next season, we also see Hector Ayala's niece Angela again, no doubt that she's gonna become the next White Tiger in the near future. Finally, Daredevil comes to the conclusion that he and Karen need an army to fight Fisk, so they recruit Cherry, Detective Kim, and other honest police officers to save the city. There's a strong possibility that we might The Defenders next season, people have been wanting to Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist again for years, of course with the possibility of multiple seasons for Daredevil: Born Again beyond Season 2, the sky is indeed the limit. Oh and by the way, there's a mid-credits scene in Frank tricks a prison guard to help him and he begins his daring escape from the clutches of the Fisks. Let's not forget that Marvel will be producing a special presentation of The Punisher, so Daredevil fans will have something to look forward to until Born Again Season 2.
