Wkly Hit List, 3/1/2025

This is boss of KlicKNet speaking, and I would like to say that We’re back after a week long hiatus! We had taken time off to celebrate my 29th Birthday which was absolutely amazing, and not only that, but we’ve completed what we hope will be the final draft to our independent short film, the NickCam spin-off RhodeyNY. It looks like the next steps who be getting the cast and crew together and start shooting this summer, but no, because there are more important things to get done before we can even think about shooting. Of course, let’s not forget that here at KlicKNet, we’re always creating new content on social media for our brand, and last Thursday we released a brand new episode of FakeTV Box which features our ongoing segment: That’s So Epic. It covers everything about How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk, and I implore everyone to watch carefully in what is considered to be this week’s Sneak Peek of the Week.

That’s So Epic! How to Train Your Dragon:
Isle of Berk at Epic Universe – FakeTV Box

Before we get into our Inside Scoop for this week, we wanna address the shocking passings of two well-known actors Michelle Trachtenburg and Gene Hackman. Michelle Trachtenburg she made her television debut in her first credited role on Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Pete & Pete, I've known Michelle from watching her in Nickelodeon's first feature film "Harriet the Spy," she's appeared on Blue's Clues for Blue's Big Birthday, Clarissa Explains It All, Space Cases and on the Nickelodeon Game Show Figure It Out, she's even narrated for the book "Math Curse" on Reading Rainbow. Years later I learned she was casted into two major dramas: Buffy the Vampire and Gossip Girl, to open up social media on a Wednesday Afternoon and to hear that she died at the age of 39 is nerve racking. Her family has chosen not to have an autopsy done on her based on "religious reasons," so we do not the cause of her death, though it's probably for the best. Michelle does not get enough for her work as a child actor, and thank goodness she wasn't affected at by the toxicity of working in children's television like many other young actors. I knowGene Hackman from Antz and The Birdcage which he did a phenomenal jo in both, he's won an Oscar for Best Actor in 1971 for his performance in The French Connection, and then he won another Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 1992 for his performance in Unforgiven. I almost feel sad that I don't know him from any other projects besides those, but I hope that I've said enough good things to honor him, and with the 97th Academy Awards coming tomorrow on ABC, I would imagined that they're going to honor Gene Hackman at the Oscars.

Speaking of the Oscars, Wkly Hit List would like to share its predictions before the awards are handed over to the actual winners tomorrow.  The way that we're going to do this is that our predictions be highlighted in boldface and with an asterisk (*) at the end. Let's do this:

It wasn't easy deciding who I think will win tomorrow, and it's very possible that I could get most of these predictions. Then again, it's all about doing things different on Wkly Hit List and at KlicKNet, so we'll watching the Academy Awards, hosted by Conan O'Brien very closely on ABC tomorrow to see exactly what we got right and see what other moments happen. This is the boss of KlicKNet, signing off.
