Wkly Hit List, 2/1/2025

Let's take the time right now to reflect on the two devastating plane crashes this week. First, it was the mid air collision that took place last Wednesday in our nation’s capital: Washington DC, and then just last night the Learjet plane crashed in the Northern part of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The fact that these two actions happen just two days apart from one another is incredible and also devastating. Here at KlicKNet, our hearts go out to all those deeply affected, most notably the victims’ families, this is not how anyone wants to start off the new year. Well, some people wanna go around putting the blame on others who have nothing to do with these tragedies, we should all look to the bigger picture and try and prevent these sort of things from happening again. I would I like to say look to law officials to make sure that flights will be safe every time people go on a plane, but that doesn’t seem appropriate right now. Let’s hope and pray for the best moving forward as there are only 11 months left in 2025. With all that being said, it’s time for the 5-Day Rounder.

In an effort to get people’s focus off of these plane accidents, I want you to remind them that there’s a brand new theme park this year opening in time for the summer season at Universal Orlando Resort called Universal Epic Universe. Our Inside Scoop this week is gonna be short and quick because just a while back we talked about Scream, the scary movie about scary movies. it wasn’t too long ago that we discussed the new castings in Scream 7, with Joel McHale having been picked to play Sidney Prescott’s Husband, Mark Evans and Jasmine Savoy Brown Coming back from Scream VII play Mindy Meeks-Martin. The last one got a lot of people hyped, and with Neve, Campbell, Courtney Cox and Mason Gooding also coming back, it seemed like everything was full steam ahead for the next Scream, but it turns out that Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group are not finished with the casting process yet. Just wait to hear who they have put in this week, it’s too old (Ghost)faces that early Scream fans know and love.

On Thursday, it was announced by Deadline Hollywood that Scott Foley who played Roman Bridger in Scream 3 will have a role in Scream 7. The thing is, nobody knows what exactly Scott’s doing in Scream 7, it’s uncertain that he’s playing Roman Bridger again because Roman was shot in the head by Dewey in Scream 7. Well, let’s keep in mind that Kevin Williamson is the director of Scream 7, he has worked on previous Scream movies as producer alongside late Director Wes Craven, so we can all trust with what he’s doing. Of course, Scott Foley is not the only one here making a comeback in the Scream franchise, because just hours after this news, Deadline Hollywood reported that Matthew Lillard it’s also coming back as Stu Macher, and that is something that fans have been wanting for years. Everyone has the feeling or should I say theory that Stu has been alive since after first Scream movie in 1996, and he has been plotting his revenge against Sidney.

Some people believe that Scream 7 will use the original script that Scream 7 was about before it was changed to a film about Hollywood. Nonetheless, fans should be really excited to see Matthew Lillard return to where his career started, and as for Scott Foley, he might appear in a flashback, or maybe he has a twin brother we don’t know about or maybe something else. People are theorizing that the new Ghostface killer could use some AI system to put on the faces of old killers simply to torment Sidney, now that would be some next level type of evil. Honestly as a fan of this franchise, I can’t wait to see Scream 7 when it comes to theaters next year on February 27, 2026, not a bad way to spend 30 years of me.
