Wkly Hit List, 1/25/2025

I know that's been a really difficult week for everybody in the United Sates of America, but as I said before or unless I'm saying this now, we gonna be reframing ourselves from speaking about politics until further notice. It's a good thing that there are other things in the news to talk about other than politics, because who wants to spend the next our years talking about the same subject. We've have always managed to find fun things to talk about on this blog, on social media, and on YouTube, I hope I can guide people to the future with my wit, passion and amazing sense of humor. With all that in mind, it's time once again for the 5-Day Rounder, it starts with some bad news, but I promise you that the rest of the field is worth checking out.

This year for KlicKNet could be the biggest one yet, the brand started back in 2015, five years after that, KlicKNet has its own YouTube channel, but we're just getting started. We wish produce and film the NickCam spinoff RhodeyNY this summer, bring back the Livestream version of Wkly Hit List, and make more episodes of FakeTV Box. You can bet that we've got something cooking for FakeTV Box for the next few weeks, but as usual, we won't reveal all the details right now. Beside, there's a new episode online right now for all the fans of Marvel Television and Daredevil: Born Again. Speaking of Marvel, there are a rumored report going on right now with Marvel Studios' Armor Wars and how another Marvel project might have affected it. Please allow The Cosmic Wonder to explain it to you in our Sneak Peek of the Week.

ARMOR WARS UPDATE! Marvel to ERASE SECRET INVASION ARC?

Our Inside Scoop this week concerns Award Shows specifically the Oscars. This past Thursday, the nominations for the 97th Annual Academy Awards were announced, and if you remember they had to extend the deadline for voting for nominees due to the ongoing Los Angeles Wildfires. Even more so, the nominations announcement was originally scheduled to be on January 17 last week, and then it was delayed to this week Thursday, January 23, and while the Wildfires continue, that has not stopped the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from letting people know is nominated for Best Picture. These fires will also not stop the Oscars from taking place LIVE in LA, March 2nd at 7PM EST on ABC, but before we get there, let's rundown all 23 Oscar categories and see who made the cut, and if your favorite movie, actor, or filmmaker got snubbed, well then there's nothing we can do about it now.

People don't seems to be happy about Emilia Pérez getting the most nominations this Oscar season with an overall 13. Many can't figure out why Karla Sofía Gascón is nominated for Best Actress, it clearly states on Wikipedia that even though she plays the titular character Emilia Pérez, it was a supporting role. Zoe Saldaña – who played the lawyer Rita Mora Castro, was the leading role of the film, and yet she's nominated this year for Best Supporting Actor, making people demand that she and Karla should switch places. Others are upset about the director of Dune: Part Two, Denis Villeneuve, not being nominated and even Zendaya who starred in Dune: Part Two but was not nominated for Best Actress. Another Disney Channel star who got snubbed was Selena Gomez starred in Emilia Pérez, and people are stunned by the fact that Moana 2 didn't make the cut for Best Animated Feature, and Denzel Washington who was marvelous ‘Gladiator II,’ is nowhere to be found in the category of Best Supporting Actor. Well much like the results of the 2024 Presidential Election, we just gotta live with these nominations for the 2025 Oscars; whether people choose to watch the event unfold on television is up to them. Either way, it's gonna be a fun night March 2nd, so tune in if you dare to the 97th Annual Academy Awards LIVE on ABC at 7PM EST.
