I have something very exciting to announce later on in this post, but before we can get to it, there's some business to take care of. It all starts with the 5-Day Rounder, ever since the 2024 Election we've been trying to say away from politics, at least until the next important election comes around. I can't be optimistic about what's gonna happen next year and the years after that, but KlicKNet intends to distance itself from the political world for the time being, perhaps we'll leave it all to the professionals on Saturday Night LIVE, The Daily Show, and The Late Show, etc. Speaking of SNL, one story within the Rounder this week involves this show as it celebrates its 50th Anniversary next year, it's gonna be great. Just as great as the following stories we found all week, take a look.
This Inside Scoop is a very really story, so real, that it's one of ours. For months, I have been creating a new website using Adobe Portfolio, a place where I can showcase my work to let people as an Filmmaker, Actor, Content Creator from a personal standpoint. To anyone reading this, I'm not speaking to them as a character, I'm speaking to them as myself, and what I'm discussing is very near and dear to my heart, so please listen up because this is important stuff. This week I published my personal portfolio website, and the link for it is as followed: https://kwamealexander.myportfolio.com/; here's what it looks like when you're welcomed in and what it looks like after click here the button that says "Enter Here."

As you can see in the second picture down below, I laid out everything from the films, reels, and other content I've made, to the crews I've worked on. At the bottom middle is a section that explains how intend to manage everything I do in front and behind the camera. KlicKNet Productions is structured as an independent production banner that works to create more short films and content in the future, while also wanting to collaborate with other artists who wish to create their own. One friend of my from Brooklyn College has done something like this and it's safe to point out that I would for our respective indie companies to work on a project together one day, and we might just do that with what I'm about to say next.

The last section of my portfolio site marks "Upcoming Projects," where people what projects I'm working on in my spare time when I'm not doing anything related to KlicKNet and FakeTV Box. Right now, I have ideas for two short films I want to write and direct, as a super-fan when it comes to Superhero Movies and TV Shows, I've always want to direct some kind of Superhero Film myself, I've been constantly brainstorming ideas for months and I've finally landed on an something that seems realistic and I can pull off once I've written the script. However, I before I make a superhero film, I want to try my hand on continuing the story of NickCam, which was my thesis film from Brooklyn College. Several months, I submitted the film to many film festival and two were kind enough to approve it their events this year, and I'm very honored that they did, which made me realize I should write and direct my own films more often so people can see my persecutive of the world of film.

You know how websites like Deadline Hollywood, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and TV Line announce that a new project "is in the works" from other Film and TV companies, well this week on social media, I announced that a spin-off to NickCam is the works at KlicKNet Productions and it will be centered on two characters from the film: Rhodey and Qristyl. Even though I've only written three and a half pages so far, I managed to get the actors who played these characters in NickCam on board with the project just by announcing it on Instagram. So I'm happily to announce in this post that Tova Yarbrough and Betsy Regus are "In Talks" to reprise their roles as Rhodey and Qristyl in a new short film titled "RhodeyNY." Of course, the plot of the film is being kept under wraps at the moment, but the setting however will take in New York City, compared to NickCam taking place in Northern California.

Those who have stuck with this blog since its beginnings in 2014 should that I use to post fictional TV Shows like NickCam, but I also wrote a fictional TV spinoff called Rhodey, NY. I'm very proud of these shows even though they're both 100% fake, thanks to my time at Brooklyn College I was able to bring NickCam to life with the help of young actors and filmmakers. Now that I've graduated with BA in Film Production, I want to bring RhodeyNY to life as my first non-college short film. I don't know if I can get the other actors from NickCam to come back in cameos but I'll certainly try, I probably won't be able to assemble the same people in my thesis film crew for this project, but I'll worried about that part some other time. All and all, I'm happy to be writing screenplays again and with the new year, maybe I'll direct RhodeyNY in 2025.
