We hope that every is having a great Thanksgiving weekend as we've reached the last day of November. KlicKNet has had one of it best months this year having kickoff November doing two livestream episodes of FakeTV Box covering Election Night and D23 Brazil, and now we're ending November three back-to-back new episodes in the span of one week. Rest assure that there will be more new content in December and in 2025, as uncertain and unpredictable the New Year maybe and the rest of future, KlicKNet will go on for a whole lifetime. Now for this week's 5-Day Rounder, it's merely about the hottest movies and either in theaters now, or coming to theaters soon, or will be streaming in the months to come, plus some football news coming out of Thanksgiving Thursday.
Our Inside Scoop this week concerns Walt Disney World Resort, the one place that my parents failed to take me as a child. If you remember from the D23 Event in August, Disney Experiences run by it chairman Josh D'Amaro announced a lot of cool stuff coming to almost every Disney Park around the world. The one park that we're gonna be talking about Disney's Hollywood Studios which is famous for a lot of things like broadcasting LIVE episodes of WCW Monday Nitro, and who couldn't forget the one where Kevin Nash threw Rey Mysterio like a dart and he went head first into a production trailer, I'm surprised that Rey didn't lose an eye from that. But anyway, Disney's Hollywood Studios announced that a Monsters, Inc. themed land, which is under the name Monstropolis, will be built beginning in 2025, even more so this new land will include the first ever suspended roller coaster to be built at a Disney Park on Earth.

If you look at the concept art above, this place looks amazing and I'm sure that die hard Monsters. Inc fans have been waiting to see something like this for years. Ever since D23 ended in August, people have asked the question, where on Earth will they built this Monstropolis in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Well just a few days ago, we all got the answer to our question, because Disney announced that the land would replace an OG attraction of the park, Muppet*Vision 3D, as well as and the Muppet Courtyard area known as Grand Avenue. I know what die hard Muppets fans are gonna say, and I couldn't agree more. THIS SUCKS, it sucks more than the Mets losing in the National Championship League Series, it sucks more than the Yankees losing in the World Series, it sucks more than Kamala Harris losing the election, it sucks more than pretty much anything a person could lose. But Muppets fans don't have to be sad because The Muppets aren't leaving Disney's Hollywood Studios, you see in conjunction with the announcement of Muppet*Vision 3D closing, Disney announced that the famous Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith on Sunset Boulevard will be re-themed to The Muppets, but would retain the same name. So right now, I'm gonna talk about how I think all of this will affect the entire park by removing one theme and replacing it with a theme that's being replace by another theme somewhere else.

Disney's Hollywood Studios has been seen in the past taking old (and probably outdated) theme lands and replace them with something, heck we've see it all the time in almost every theme park in the world. Hollywood Studios use to be both a theme park inspired by show business and an operating production studio, with active film and television production services, an animation facility branch, and a functioning backlot. But then in the 2010s, the park began to distance itself from the original studio backlot intention and entered a new direction of immersive theming and attraction development inspired by imagined worlds from Hollywood storytellers. So things like the Studio Backlot Tour and the Streets of America do not exist anymore, they were cleared out to make way for things like Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. It's been well documented that Disney's Hollywood Studios sits next to a really big parking lot for guest and cast members, in fact if look it up on Google Maps, it looks almost the same size as Hollywood Studios if not bigger. People says that Disney should stop demolishing and re-theming their lands and attractions when own plenty of land in Florida to expand upon. Grand Avenue is right next to the cast member parking lot, and in order to built the Monsters Inc. Suspended Roller Coaster, they going to make a little expansion by taking out a little chunk of the cast members parking lot from behind Grand Avenue.

Looking at where The Muppets Rock N' Roller Coaster is gonna be set up, it looks as though they have enough space to expand Sunset Boulevard or even build a new Muppet Courtyard from scratch. Assuming that they own the parcels of green land around Hollywood Studios, the Sky seems to be the limit for Disney, however the company chooses to re-theme their lands in pretty much every one of its theme parks in the United States, while the International parks get expand wherever they wish to. What is really upsetting is Muppet*Vision 3D closing down as its been a fan-favorite attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, it was in fact the last Muppets project to be helmed by their creator Jim Henson before he died in 1990. Out long after the stunning announcement, The Jim Henson Company would voice their opinion in a well written statement on social media which reads:
“Jim Henson’s final project was Muppet*Vision 3D, now regarded as a true theme park classic. Innovation was always Jim Henson’s north star, and his trailblazing career led him to a unique challenge: a truly immersive Muppet experience where audiences are part of the happy chaos of the iconic Muppet Show. Originally debuting in 1991, Muppet*Vision 3D combined 3D technology with real-world practical effects, alongside animatronic and live Muppet characters. The result was a one-of-a-kind Jim Henson experience, and an unforgettable capstone to Jim’s magnificent career. As we learn of the show’s upcoming closure in its current form at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we look forward to Muppet*Vision 3D’s next act.”
That last line that they're looking forward to Muppet*Vision 3D’s "next act" could mean a lot of things, maybe Disney will find it in its hearts to move the attractions to a new location within Walt Disney World Resort. Some people may not know that there was a version of the attraction in Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, but according to Muppet*Vision 3D wikipedia page, the Disney's California Adventure version has officially been on hiatus since November 2, 2014, with the show building having been remodeled since then, and the attraction removed from the Disneyland website; however the closing date is unofficial. What Disneyland plans to do with it Muppets Theater remains uncertain for the past decade and while the Disney's Hollywood Studios version will be re-themed to Monsters Inc., what will happen to the entire attraction is anyone guess.

Bottom line is that Disney continues to satisfy people who come to their theme parks around the world, and after what was announced by Disney Experiences and Josh D'Amaro at D23 last August, people will certainly be more satisfied, even if they lose a long-time attraction. One last thing I will say is that I hope people will go to Disney's Hollywood Studios will enjoy Muppet*Vision 3D while it's still operating, though I feel people will be happy to see Aerosmith moving out of the Rock N' Roller Coaster. Like everyone else, I wonder how are they going to pull off re-theming it to The Muppets since the coaster is said to last for 90 seconds. The only one who can answer that question is Disney and they're likely to give us new details while they beginning construction next year in 2025, and KlicKNet will stay alert if anything comes up so that KlicKNettars will know right away.
