It's the first Saturday/Sunday in October and the Wkly Hit List is guiding you through spooky season as best as it can. This week has seen a lot of hot topics in the news cycle and we've managed to capture five of them. See what's on the 5-Day Rounder this time, the world is shock with the surprised viewership of one late-night show, the passing of another legend, the signing of a new deal for one wrestling company, the amazing playoff run of a little sports team from New York City, and finally a fan-favorite Disney franchise is making a royal return.
We're gonna skip the Sneak Peek of the Week just for this week, and move straight into our Inside Scoop. We're still recapping and reviewing Marvel Television's Agatha All Along on Disney Plus. Fun fact: I've watched the newest episode over and over again because I keep falling asleep when it gets to the end, probably because I keep watching it at night before I'm supposed to go to sleep. So before I wrote this piece, I saw the whole the episode in the morning, and I figured out what I'm gonna write. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Agatha All Along Episode Four yet, you better stop reading right now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest.

The coven has just buried Mrs. Hart after she died in the first trial, and now they need to find a replacement green witch to help them get to the end of the road. Right of the blue, they use their witchcraft to summon the last person Agatha wanted on this trip, and that would be Rio who rises up outta of Mrs. Hart's grave in the most twisted way imaginable. Remember, Rio tried to kill Agatha in the first episode, but Agatha convinced to Rio to let her live so she can go down the Witches' Road and get her powers back; then the two of them could settle things witch-to-witch. So while Agatha is annoyed with Rio joining her coven, she knows that she doesn't have a choice in the matter, which brings them to the next trial of the road. The coven approach a house with a 1970s aesthetic that gives Alice a lot of grief, but also given the coven a groovy new fashion scent. The Teen calls them "an album waiting to happen." and that is my favorite line of the entire episode, where The Beatles when you need them?

Despite the new looks, the house is another story, it's what you would call a "haunted one" with creepy masks on the wall and everything. Inside is a music recording studio that has connections to Alice's past and her late mother Lorna Wu. We learn that Alice's mother died in a hotel fire while on tour but always told Alice that the Road would save her. Obliviously, Alice doesn't want to talk about it, she however does admit that her mother was trying to open the Witches' Road with her concerts, and she used her fans as her coven, pretty sick if you ask me. Elsewhere, Rio follows Agatha into the control room and reveals that she’s been impatient and wants to cause some damage. Agatha points out that she’s too early, and lets her know that she is annoyed with Rio being apart of the coven now, but Rio points out she doesn’t have a choice when because when a witch summons her, there's no going back.

Rio playfully suggests to Agatha that they betray the others, which is overheard by everyone outside the control room, but then suddenly, the Teen accidentally plays a song on a record player backwards. This leads to a demon being summon that is part of a curse in Alice's family, but it also means that the fire trial has begun. The demon attacks them by giving them burns on their shoulders, with the only way to stay safe is for them to draw a circle and stand in it. Agatha figures out that Alice is the one who brought the demon in with them, but Alice comes out saying she thought that it was all in her head, she blames herself for all her failures in life and for the death of mother. But this is no time for Alice to feel sorry for herself, in order to fight the curse, the group must play Lorna's version of the Ballad and with all of her strength, Alice is able to successfully kill the demon.

With the trial over, the Teen is revealed to have been severely wounded. It happened when the curse threw him into the recording booth window and he was stabbed with a shard of glass. Luckily for him, the coven escape the house and tend to him, saving his life. Lilia, Alice, and Jennifer bond with each other while Rio implies the history between herself and Agatha, and since they all heard what Rio and Agatha were saying in the control room, knows if Lilia, Alice, and Jennifer can still trust Agatha moving forward. Meanwhile, Agatha checks in on the Teen who is still recovering, he then asks what happened to her son, but she completely ignores the question. Later, Agatha and Rio have a moment alone together, Agatha for some strange reason tries to kiss Rio, but then Rio for some strange reason tells Agatha that the Teen is not her son. This episode proves to be very emotional for one Alice, we learn a little bit more about her backstory and watch her literally face her demons. With Rio apart of the coven for the rest of the series, there's bound to be some more trouble courtesy of her, so Agatha had better tread softly knowing the other witches are catching on to her intentions. I do believe I said before weeks ago that I would not be surprised if Agatha really betray them all in the end, but we'll just have to keep watching the show to find out.
