Wkly Hit List, 10/26/2024

It's the final Wkly Hit List of the month of October and we've manage to avoid the spooks and the scares, at least in real life. We have been watching all kinds of scary movies on TV and on streaming, and most of them don't creep me out like they use to as a kid. Anyway, KlicKNettars should keep in mind that the Wkly Hit List will be off next Saturday as our boss will be working on a 3-Day Project as First AD, meaning we're back November 9th. So let's this train moving with a brand new 5-Day Rounder right now.

Bad News: There is no Sneak Peek of the Week, because we're too scared to find one with Halloween coming up soon. Good News: Our Inside Scoop is all new this week and we're continuing our recap and review of Marvel Television's Agatha All Along, which is entering its final two episodes next week on Disney Plus. This week's episode served to be nail bitter for it contains the death of another witch, but you'll have to keep reading to find out who it is and what happened. Although, before we move on, I wanna point that this episode had over 4.2 million views after just one day of streaming on Disney Plus, making it the most-watched episode of the series. So who knows how well the final two episodes will do next week. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Agatha All Along Episode Seven yet, you better stop reading right now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest.

Last week we learned how William Kaplan became the vessel of Billy Maximoff, and now we find Billy and Agatha having an awkward walk-and-talk down the Witches’ Road. We could get into everything they say like Agatha calling herself Wanda's ex-bestie and all. But Billy doesn't want to get into it with her, he's determined to get what he wants at the end of the Road, and he declares that already has a mother who is not Wanda. After some pressing, Agatha admits that she’s unsure if Wanda’s really dead, and to that I say "never say never." Agatha and Billy continue walking before they coming across a very big, very dark, and very spooky castle. Perhaps, Walt Disney World can take a few ideas from here for their upcoming Villains Land at the Magic Kingdom. Now upon entering the castle in this episode, Agatha and Billy find themselves dressed up as the Wicked Witch of the West and Maleficent, respectively.

They see a tarot table, and a timer flips, meaning that the test has already started. The two of them are also presented with tarot cards, and if they don't place the proper cards in the correct sequence, then swords hanging from the ceiling will fall down. Meanwhile, Lilia and Jen are lost in a cave after they were thrown into the mud by Billy. They're walking down a long tunnel because Lilia said they needed to look for shelving — something Lilia now doesn’t remember saying. Lilia also doesn’t remember that Billy is the son of the Scarlet Witch, despite apparently having informed Jen. Jen tells Lilia she’s acting wispier and crazier than usual and reveals that, five minutes ago, they had a beautiful heart-to-heart. Flashbacks from Lilia's childhood lesson in divination reveal that she has been experiencing her life out of order, which explains her memory lapses. Lilia’s previous outbursts in the series reveal that she was trying to warn Alice not to save Agatha.

As Lilia and Jen continue on into the tunnel, they evade the Salem Seven before reuniting with Agatha and Billy in the castle, and just to point, Lilia is dressed as Glinda from Wicked, and Jen looks like as the hag version of the Evil Queen from Snow White. Lilia is angry at Billy for throwing her and Jen into the mud, Billy thought they were cool. Naturally, he apologizes to her, telling Lilia that his power was a surprise to him as well. He wasn’t trying to lie, and he would’ve used his power to save Alice. Lilia realizes that he’s reading her mind and recalls the bar mitzvah. She remembers doing a reading for Billy before she got confused, but he’s not sure what went wrong. Billy presses her about whether she cast the sigil, and she admits to it. She saw who he would become and knew he needed time. What happens in the next few scenes of this episode is gonna be very hard to explain, as we keeping switching back and forth between flashbacks and current events. So we're going to skip to part where we learn who Rio really is.

As the trial begins to get even more dangerous due to the swords falling down and the ceiling descending on and onLilia begins to place the tarot cards in their proper order, as this her trial. We then get what looks to be another flashback where Lilia discovers that Rio is actually Death, who forebodes that her time is coming. In case you're wondering, Agatha knew all of this and said nothing to the others, no surprise there huh? Soon the ceiling of swords stops and rises again, meaning that Lilia passed the trial saving everyone, She then announces that Rio is Death — the original Green Witch and Agatha admits it's true, no surprise there either. The exit opens, and on the way out, Lilia tells Agatha that when Rio calls her a coward, she needs to hit the deck. She gives Billy back the spellbook that he left behind earlier and tells Jen she needs to go ahead of her. Lilia chooses to stay behind as the Salem Seven approach. She flips one of the cards, causing the entire room to flip, impaling most of the Seven and herself. The last scene is a younger Lilia gleefully attending her first lesson in divination. This was such a wonderfully written episode, we got to learn a lot about Lilia before her death. The shock that Rio is really Death threw a lot of people by surprise, and one must think that we're getting closer to that long-awaited showdown between Rio and Agatha, that is if it's still on the table. With only two episodes, what will become of Agatha, Billy, and Jen, and what other horrors awaits them and us on the Witches' Road?
