Wkly Hit List, 10/12/2024

It's the middle of October and the Wkly Hit List has got something cooking right now. The rest of KlicKNet is hard at work with other projects including covering the Presidential election of FakeTV Box. Also, we're gonna be off Saturday, November 2nd because our boss will be collaborating on 3-Day Film Project where he has finally been chosen to work as a First Assistant Director. He's very honored by this and it feels just right, I hope this treats him better than his first attempt as First AD which went horribly on March 31 for reasons we don't need to get into. Something we can get into is the 5-Day Rounder which believe or not, has good news about a fast-food restaurant, and bad news for a convenience store.

We're going to have a very unique Sneak Peek of the Week this week, because ever since the D23 Event ended in August, fans of the Disney Parks have been wondering how the Walt Disney Resort in Florida will make an entire Villains Land come to life. Well, one YouTube channel has been monitoring for new details since D23 and just yesterday, they made a video explaining what they've found out.

Our Inside Scoop this week continues our review of Marvel Television's Agatha All Along on Disney Plus. This one is gonna be really exciting because we're at the midway point of the series and with four new episodes left, anything can and will happen. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Agatha All Along Episode Five yet, you better stop reading right now. If you would like to continue at your risk, then be my guest.

After completing the next trial, Agatha, the Teen, and the Coven learn that the Salem Seven has been following them on the Witches' Road. Looks like they left the door open after doing the summoning spell in the second episode, and now they're all running for their lives, or should I say flying for their lives. The coven evades the Salem Seven by using makeshift flying broomsticks, without the brooms attached at the bottom. It's all fun up in the air until, the Road begins to force them back down. Two things to point out, they're all in a panic — except for Rio, who laughs like a maniac, and one of the Salem Seven attempts to block them from getting to the next trial, with a swarm of bees coming out of her mouth, but they keep pushing on.

The coven finds themselves in a cabin that has a a cabin, which has a 1980s slumber party theme to it, think back to Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street, both franchises literally dominated that decade with a bloody fist. Aside from the different themes in past few episodes, you can get a sense that someone is gonna die in this one, and it's gonna be an even worst death than Mrs. Hart's shocking demise. We learn that this is going to Agatha, so she better not screw it. The group finds an Ouija board, another tool of witchcraft which is very helpful, and they use it to make contact with spirits. The Teen reads the rules of the Ouija board as followed: 1. no using it alone, 2. no talking over each other, 3. no taunting the spirits, n4. o asking about death, 5. always end a session with goodbye, and 5. don’t take your hand off the board. If you do so, a spirit will be released. They all begin to put their hands on the board, and the spirit of Mrs. Hart starts communicating with them using Agatha’s body as a vessel. Spoiler Alert: Agatha is just pretending that Mrs. Hart has taken her over, it maybe funny to the audience, but the coven aren't laughing.

Agatha gets her act back together and tries to contact a spirit — for real this time. Death has decided to come and play, according to the board, and it wants to punish Agatha. The board moves faster and faster, repeating Agatha’s name and freaking Agatha out. She takes her hands off the board, and all hell breaks loose, with the lights flickering and the sound of screams filling the room. The coven considers killing Agatha, hoping that it'll help them pass the trial, but the Teen is against. Then all of sudden, Agatha begins crawling around on the ceiling and her body starts to contort, meaning that she's possessed, and the worst part is, she's not fooling around this time. Her body is being possessed by the ghost of Agatha's mother Evanora, who we saw in a flashback at the beginning of the episode and in WandaVision. Remember, Agatha killed her own mother in 1693 along with her previous coven, and that alone is the reason why the new coven doesn't trust her. Evanora warns the coven to leave Agatha behind and attacks them, so Alice tries to use her powers to expel Evanora from Agatha, who proceeds to absorb her magic. The Teen sees the ouija board spelling out the name Nicholas Scratch, who is Agatha's son, a little boy’s voice is heard calling out to Agatha that she must stop, which she does but Alice dies after all the life in her body is drained from her body.

A staircase descends as the final alarm of the trial sounds, but nobody is in a rush to leave this time. You can probably guess how pissed the Teen, Jennifer, and Lilia are at Agatha who claims to them that what she did was an accident. But when she discovers she now has Alice’s powers, the look on her face changes, and not in a good way. She still tells the Teen that she he had no control of killing Alice, but the Teen ain't buying. He convinced that this is all about power for her, Jennifer angrily  chimes in and confirms it, Lilia adds on by saying that death comes for them all. After the Teen berates her some more, Agatha laughs in his face and mockingly says that "he's just like his mother," that could be mean she has figured out who he really is. The Teen however isn't having it no more, and in a fit of anger, he magically forces Lilia and Jen to toss Agatha into a mud trap before blasting them in as well. As the witches sink into, a headwear similar to the Scarlet Witch's appears on the Teen's head. End of episode. All I can say is WOW! They're really getting things moving with this much drama, the pace is incredibly, and the plot keeps getting scarier and scarier every week. While we all want to know what happened to Agatha, Jennifer, and Lilia, the biggest question from this episode is the one we've been asking since even before the series began streaming. Is the Teen Wanda's son?
