WKLY HIT LIST IS BACK! And the Summer has just started to get hotter, we've been away to focus on the Flight Deck Film Festival and the New York Lift Off Festival, which gave our teen comedy short film NickCam official selections into their events. We're also looking into ways covering San Diego Comic-Con and the D23 Event LIVE, and we'll explain it later this month. Don't forget, we're also celebrating the 10th Anniversary of this blog with 5 special daily posts that are sure to take longtime viewers on a trip down memory lane.

I regret to inform you KlicKNettars that there will be no 5-Day Rounder for a little while, that's because there are stories out there that have come to my attention. Take two weeks ago for instant, Warner Bros released a new trailer for the Max original series "The Penguin." As you can imagine, I'm going to watch when it starts streaming as it comes from the same universe as Matt Reeves' The Batman. See what makes The Penguin tick in our Sneak Peek of the Week.

Our Inside Scoop this week concerns the Supreme Court, the last thing that any blogger wants to talk about on their website. Everyone knows that the Supreme Court is a lot of things these days, but fair is not one of them. To understand what I'm talking about, I have to remind everyone that former US President Donald Trump was indicted last August for his role in the January 6 Attack on the US Capitol. Fast forward to October, Trump's attorneys have filed a motion in the federal prosecution case, headed by Special Counsel  Jack Smith, to dismiss the indictment. Tanya S. Chutkan, the presiding judge of the federal case, rejected the October motion to dismiss under presidential immunity last December, but then on December 7, Trump filed notice that he planned to appeal Chutkan's ruling. The week after that, Chutkan paused all deadlines in the case, including the upcoming trial itself, so the immunity dispute could be resolved first, and so it was, but we'll get into that later.

In January, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit heard arguments in the immunity dispute came to a decision on February 6 to reject Trump's immunity claim in Federal Election interference case, but Orange Thanos would not give up that easily; he sure as hell doesn't give up telling lies every day. On February 12, Trump's attorneys filed a motion requesting that the Supreme Court block the appeals court ruling, and sixteen days after, the Supreme Court granted a writ of certiorari for Trump's appeal. Since April 25, the Supreme Court has heard oral arguments and it took them about two months to come up with what is, in this journalist's opinion, a very stupid decision. Last Monday, Court determined that "presidential immunity from criminal prosecution presumptively extends to all of a president's "official acts" – with absolute immunity for official acts within an exclusive presidential authority that Congress cannot regulate such as the pardon, command of the military, execution of laws, or control of the executive branch."

The ruling was made in a 6–3 decision by the Supreme Court, all because there are 6 republican justices currently seated, while the other three justices are Democrats. Talk about a country divided, it's like when your family can't decided what they're going to do for the 4th of July, often times there more children in the house than of the two parents who are running the house, and even when the kids get older, the parents still get to decide everything, like to going to Uncle Trump's for he calls the most popular BBQ in history. Anyway, the Supreme Court's decision has sparked a lot of reaction across the United States, and has definitely put a big strain on the other ongoing federal trial whose fate is still to be determined. So as much as Donald Trump is a liar, he’s a very smart man in taking up his appeals to the Supreme Court, he just knew that there would be six justices on his side, maybe we should introduce these guys to the Wyatt Sick6, I think Uncle Howdy and Clarence Thomas would make the best of friends. 

One thing to point, we already knew that the federal election inference case would be delayed to after the 2024 presidential election, but this ruling by the Supreme Court changes pretty much everything for so many different reasons. If Trump wins the election, and god have mercy on all of us if that happens, and he is not found guilty in the federal election inference case, then he is fit to get away pretty much everything as our commander-in-chief. Democratic Justice Sonia Sotomayor stated that the court’s ruling “makes a mockery of the principle, foundational to our Constitution and system of Government, that no man is above the law.” Her statement also goes on to say: “When he uses his official powers in any way, under the majority’s reasoning, he now will be insulated from criminal prosecution. Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune.” So if I were to keep calling him Orange Thanos on YouTube and on this blog, he'd be allowed to send the Marines or a SWAT team to bust into my house and shoot me down in front of my mother. Of course, some would argue that killing someone by order of the president for name calling him is not classified as an official act and Trump would probably have full immunity for giving out the order anyway. 

What I'm trying to say, long story short, Trump has proven to be very smart, very dishonest, and very dangerous, and it the country decides to elect him as president again, then guess what, the whole country is paying for my funeral because even after the 2024 Election is over, I'm still gonna keep calling him "Orange Thanos". SO TO ALL THE VOTERS OUT THERE, SCREW HOW OLD JOE BIDEN IS! If he wanted to, he could send a SWAT Team to kill me too, but I know he wouldn't because he's not a convicted felon trying to escape jail time that is long overdue I might. It's up to us this save whatever's left of the United States of America. The Supreme Court can't help us, Jack Smith can't help us, Fani Willis can't help us. LET'S RUN TO THE POLLS ON NOVEMBER 5 AND LET'S  ALL MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE...AGAIN!
