Something creepy is going on within World Wrestling Entertainment, or for short WWE. It's been one month since Cody Rhodes finished the story and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but there maybe a new evil afoot, perhaps far worse than the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. See if you can decipher what's going on in this creepy video as part of our Sneak Peek of the Week.

NEW Uncle Howdy QR Teaser | WWE Smackdown 11 May, 2024

Our Inside Scoop this week is a huge update regarding Disneyland, the original theme park of Walt Disney, and look it's every person's dream to go to a Disney Theme Park or even visit a Disney Experience at least, and I nearly went to one. In 2015, my family were on vacation in Hawaii and we could have stayed at the Aulani Disney Resort & Spa instead of some 4-star hotel, but my sister wasn't smart enough to book us there. But anyway, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California is one of the most interactive and immersive theme park resorts in the world, some call it the blueprint to every other Disney Resort in the world, and despite having to operate in a local neighborhood in Anaheim, it manages to offers new attractions for its guests. This week, the theme park has been somewhat the center of attention and the story began three years ago when the Walt Disney Company announced a proposal to expand the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim with Disneyland Forward. Before we go any further, I wanna address that nothing has been announced as of now and it may take years for this expansion to begin.

Last Tuesday, the Anaheim City Council gave its final approval today to Disney’s $1.9 billion multi-decade expansion plan for Disneyland Resort. It was a 7-0 procedural vote that came after a unanimous vote approving the project in April last month. So what that means is that the zoning and other changes laid out by the plan can now take effect in less than 30 days. Since the theme park can't simply buy acres of lands owned by local properties, and because no one in Anaheim is dumb give up land to them, Disneyland has come up with a plan to use the resort property that's already owned and/or controlled by Disney. According to Deadline.com: "Zoning allows for mixed use development [for land] where it does not exist now. The proposal allows the redeployment of some 57 acres of parking and unused land." We've already covered Disneyland Forward in two separate episodes of FakeTV Box in 2021 and this year in 2024, though we plan on doing another episode later on speculating what could be built over the next decades of the expansion plan and if an announcement will be made at the D23 Event this summer.

Just a quick reminder, the one major development of Disneyland Forward is to the west of the current parks near the Disneyland Hotel and another [Pixar Place Hotel] to the southeast of Disney California Adventure. Both plots are currently dedicated mostly to parking, but now there's the possibility of allowing theme park attractions to be alongside the hotels on the west side of Disneyland Drive. There's also the possibility of allow theme park attractions alongside new shopping, dining and entertainment to the southeast on what is today the Toy Story Parking Area at Katella Avenue and Harbor Boulevard. For years, the Toy Story lot has been the likely chose for a Third Theme Park, Disneyland had plans for this that never came to fruition, the same the Eastern Gateway Project and the Fourth Resort Hotel Project did not come to fruition, but soon they could all come back from the dead. Disneyland Resort, in my estimation, has two choices to handling park attractions, #1. They could use the property on the west side of Disneyland Drive as expansions pads for Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure and build bridges to get there as they had initially announced three years ago. Or #2. They could use the property to build the third theme park that guests have been begging for years now.

Some say that it makes no sense for Disneyland Resort to build some sort of Disney Springs-type experience on the Toy Story parking lot when it already has Downtown Disney, but with 78 acres of land, I think Disney may want something bigger to put in a third gate which is why they would settle for building around the Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel on the west side. Earlier this year, Disney CEO Bob Iger offered the idea new areas themed after Avatar, Coco and Wakanda from Black Panther coming to Anaheim, and the website for DisneylandForward has stated before that attractions themed after Frozen, Tangled, Peter Pan, Zootopia, Tron and Toy Story could be apart of the expansion plan as well. Deadline.com has stated that: "Disney needs the project for its flagship park because, while its Parks and Experiences unit continues to throw off cash, most of the outstanding 10% revenue growth the unit has seen in the past three months is due to its overseas properties." Let's not forget that Disney is just starting a ten-year, $60 billion investment cycle in its Parks and Experiences Division. The first step is the $1.9 Billion Dollar plan of DisneylandForward, which Bob Iger commented on  during Disney's Q2 Earnings Call earlier this week by saying the following statement: “We’re incredibly excited for the many potential new stories our guests could experience at Walt’s original theme park.”
