THE WKLY HIT LIST IS BACK! After three weeks, we've returned to our famous KlicKNet blog, which has lasted for ten years if you can believe. We planned to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our blog this Summer, though we don't know how yet. In the meantime, we're just glad to be back, and just to prove it, here's the first new 5-Day Rounder in weeks.

Our first Inside Scoop in weeks concerns Marvel, considered to be the most dominate force in the universe which has made superheroes icons in comic books, TV Shows, Video Games, and most of all Movies. Marvel is the Coca-Cola to DC's Pepsi, I believe that to be so because much Coke, Marvel adds a real zesty flavor to all of it content. For quite some time, we've been monitoring the many rumors on social media about what Marvel Studios is cooking up as it tries to revitalize the Marvel Cinematic Universe after several projects for the past few years have been a real disappointment. Just to name a few are She-Hulk, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Secret Invasion, The Marvels, and shockingly enough Thor: Love and Thunder.

There are many sources on social media that have been very vocal as to what's going on at Marvel Studios which is always secretive when it comes to everything they producing. We all know that in 2022, it revealed it plans at San Diego Comic-Con and D23 Event, they could be looking to do so again at this year's conventions. Now while the site formerly known Twitter hasn't been all that reliable since Elon Musk bought it, we can dive into to some of the rumors that this site has provided and hopefully by the time this piece is over, you will get an understanding of what's the new game plan.

According to one account HolyField News, which does MCU Filming and Production Updates for Movies and Disney+ Shows, several shows have wrapped up filming this year such as Agatha and Ironheart. Wonder Man and Daredevil: Born Again were halted in the middle of production last year due to the Writers and Actors going on strike, but have managed to finish things up this year. Of course with Daredevil: Born Again, it's been going through a creative overhaul and instead of being only one season with 18 episodes, they have split into two seasons with nine episodes each. Right now, Thunderbolts* is filming in Atlanta, while Captain America: Brave New World is planning to do reshoots for the whole summer this year. Blade starring Mahershala Ali has been doing through development hell trying to find the right director and writers, but it's looking to start shooting in this Summer in Mexico, and The Fantastic Four will begin shooting in London this August.

Now as for the rest of the lineup, these are all just rumors; nothing's been confirmed or denied by Marvel Studios, but it's worth detailing as a whole. According to an article on a website called Nexus Point News: "AVENGERS 5 (formerly known as Avengers: The Kang Dynasty) was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con on July 24, 2022. The movie was initially slated for a May 2, 2025 release, however, it got pushed to May 1, 2026, due to SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. The movie then dropped the Kang Dynasty from its title after Jonathan Majors, who was playing Kang the Conquerer and his variants, got dropped by Marvel Studios because of his two misdemeanor charges of assault and harassment. It is currently unclear whether Marvel Studios will keep Kang as the villain of the new installment of the AVENGERS franchise." Nexus Point News believes that Avengers 5 will will begin filming in January 2025, in the United Kingdom.

Two other MCU films that might go into production early next year, the first being Armor Wars starring Don Cheadle, in fact it could begin filming in the United Kingdom and Atlanta in January 2025, coinciding with the current filming schedule of AVENGERS 5, and raising the possibility that Marvel Studios might be planning to shoot both productions simultaneously. The second film in the United Kingdom is possibly Shang-Chi 2, but production for that could in March 2025. The plot Shang-Chi 2 is unknown at this time, some rumors believe that The Agent of Atlas might appear in the movie. We all know the plot for Armor Wars is: "War Machine, coming off the events of Secret Invasion, must confront one of Tony Stark's greatest fears when Stark Technology falls into the wrong hands." Insiders believe that Avengers 5 will be based on Earth for the whole film and will center on New Avengers Team led by Sam Wilson as Captain America. Kang's role going forward in the MCU might be like that of the Molecule Man in the 2015 Secret Wars comic run, I'm not sure what that means because I've never read the comic book, but it sounds quite promising to me.

Last but not least, let's talk about Mutants, or better yet, let's talk about X-Men. There are two interesting rumors about the X-Men Film which is being produced by Marvel Studios. #1 It could begin filming in late 2025 in the United Kingdom, #2 We might have already been introduce to where the MCU's X-Men will take place. According to HolyField News: "This film will [be] release right after Avengers 5 & take place in a alternate universe, but one that we last saw at the end of ‘THE MARVELS’ (Earth-267). Some Avengers and X-men are united as a team in this universe; heroes in this reality also came in contact with Kang before. Professor X and Binary [played by Lashana Lynch] are going to be the main focus of this universe with Binary's Bangles being a key factor throughout the film, and casting for the X-Men is expected to begin early next year months before Production." Some people have gone on social media to say that this is bad idea, but some believe it to be perfect and it might be only way to introduce mutants in the MCU as they should have been introduced a longtime ago. Furthermore, YouTube podcaster John Campea went on record on his YouTube podcast a few days ago believe that "Marvel Studios are ‘pretty close’ to hiring a writer for their upcoming X-MEN film, and that an announcement is going to come in the next few weeks." We'll keep an close eye on that if it happens, but for now, that's all the news and rumors we could dig from Marvel Studios, and we bound to have more in the near future, so stay tuned.
