I hope you've seen the latest episode of FakeTV Box this week because as you as at the end, the host of the show - that being yours truly - is going on an one-week vacation that involves flying to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Sunday, April 7th and boarding one of the Royal Caribbean's biggest ships, the Odyssey of the Seas, before coming back on Saturday, April 13th. I've said before on social media that the details of this trip were coming soon, maybe early next week. But one thing I can mention right now is that most of the trip, if not all of it, will be filmed and together in a multi-part vlog series on FakeTV Box, though I don't know when it's gonna premiere on KlicKNet - the channel. Nonetheless, I look forward to next month and I can't to showcase so much fun in the sun on the Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas. It's time now to introduce the 5-Day Rounder with tons of news that nobody saw coming.

In other news, everyone - that being Marvel fans - are super pumped for a new animated series coming to Disney Plus on March 20th. It's a revival of the old X-Men series that aired in the '90s on FOX Kids, I've seen some episodes so I understand what it's all about. But on a personal note, lemme just go on record to say that grew up watching X-Men: Evolution on Kids' WB, yet I'm looking forward to seeing X-Men '97 for one reason only. This is the first X-Men project from Marvel Studios since the studio regained the film and television rights to the characters thanks to Disney buying most of FOX in 2019. In this week's Sneak Peek of the Week, see what X-Men '97 is all about before its premiere on Disney Plus in an official clip.

For our Inside Scoop this week, we're going to give you a new update on one of the criminal cases against former President of the United States Donald Trump. Several weeks ago, District Attorney Fani Willis found herself in the middle of a series of misconduct hearings which could get her removed from the Georgia Election Interference case against Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants. Trump's lawyers have argued that her romantic relationship with her ex-boyfriend and Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she hired in the case, was a "conflict of interest." In some people's mind, this is straight out of Legal Drama Series on Television, I wonder if Scandal starring Kerry Washington was doing stuff like this.

Despite all of this, the good news is that Georgia election racketeering prosecution if officially moving forward and could start before the 2024 Presidential Election. The bad news is that the prosecution has been met with two serious issues this week, but I'll let you KlicKNettars be the judge of that. First off, this one blew away last Wednesday that the Judge presiding over the case in Fulton County, Scott McAfee, has dismissed 6 charges against Donald Trump and his co-defendants, and the reason why is almost as simple. Scott McAfee believes that "charges for asking public officials to violate their oaths of office by switching presidential electors from those for President Joe Biden, to Trump, [are just] too vague," he's basically saying that these six charges are not specific enough against the former president. McAfee would rule that the indictment failed to provide enough detail about the underlying felonies in the requests that co-defendants were making in their meetings with lawmakers or a call to a state official, here's what he said in a quote:

“They do not give the Defendants enough information to prepare their defenses intelligently, as the Defendants could have violated the Constitutions and thus the statute in dozens, if not hundreds, of distinct ways.” - Fulton County Superior Judge Scott McAfee

If you want a full description of the charges that were dropped, you can find them in the following link from USA Today; but as can well imagine, Trump is not off the hook by a long shot. McAfree left in place "acts described in the indictment, such as Trump's call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which he asked Raffensperger to "find" the votes needed to hand him victory in the state. McAfee said the acts could still be alleged as part of the conspiracy." He managed to leave in place 35 charges in the indictment.

So this brings us the second issue in the Trump election racketeering case, for it's going to have to find a new lead prosecutor. In another article from USA Today, Judge Scott McAfee made another ruling this week, in my estimation it seems more like an ultimatum, that if Fani Willis wishes not be disqualified from the entire case, then she must fire her ex-lover and special prosecutor Nathan Wade. McAfree would go on to criticize Willis by saying that she - "had created the "significant appearance of impropriety that infects the current structure of the prosecution team" by having a romantic relationship with [her] special prosecutor." Soon after the ruling, Nathan Wade hand-delivered his resignation letter to Willis and she accepted it, "effective immediately." The letter comes with the this statement made by wade that reads: "I am offering my resignation in the interest of democracy, in dedication to the American public, and to move this case forward as quickly as possible." Although, Wade has pointed out how Judge McAfee ruled that the defendants seeking his and Willis' disqualification had "failed to meet their burden" of proving an actual conflict of interest in the case. Sure enough, the defendants were not able to prove that it was a "conflict of interest," however the prosecution has just as much to worry about as them.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Fani Willis has to hurry up a find a new lead prosecutor, and she sure as heck can't afford anymore setbacks like this. Because of the misconduct hearings week ago, there were speculations that the trial could start after 2024 elections this Fall, but now there's still a chance for Fani Willis to have it start in the Summer. In her words, Nathan Wade "led a team that secured a true bill of indictment against nineteen individuals who are accused of violating Georgia law to undermine the 2020 election for the former President of the United States.” Only time will tell who the new leader is going to be, but just as long as it's not somebody else that Fani Willis slept with, I think she'll be alright.
