Wkly Hit List, 2/3/2024

This is the first weekend of February and while we may have to wait another week for Super Bowl LVIII, we have other news that will interest KlicKNettars out there. Just so you know, we're once again planning to premiere a new episode of FakeTV Box immediately after the second quarter of next week's Super Bowl and just before the Apple Music Halftime Show with Usher begins. We hope that this become a Super Bowl tradition every year, in fact we hope that KlicKNet the channel stays on YouTube for a very long time, meanwhile on KlicKNet the blog, we've got a new 5-Day Rounder with some really good news across the board.

I mentioned earlier that there's going to be a new episode of FakeTV Box just before the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Granted, we're not going to be able to have it ready by Monday, but having it premiere next weekend to gives up time to work on another new episode that will debut after the Super Bowl. For what we have planned for the Big Game, it's a trailer reaction for the upcoming movie Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, in theaters March 22nd. Care to react to it yourself in this week's Sneak Peek of the Week? Be my guest.

GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE - Official Trailer (HD)

Our Inside Scoop this week is about Pro Wrestling and Sports Entertainment, I say these words because as of right now we're are on the Road to WrestleMania 40. Last night on Friday Night SmackDown, we got our first confirmed match for The Grandest Stage of Them All this year. It will be Bayley vs Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Championship, the friendship between these two is no more for it appears that Iyo and her comrades Asuka and Kairi Sane had been plotting behind her back. But Bayley isn't stupid, she had a plan in case of such as betrayal and managed to fend these three ladies off with a steel pipe. This all started last Saturday when Bayley won the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble Match, and initially, she planned on challenging Rhea Ripley for the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania so that Damage CTRL would hold all the women's championships of Raw and SmackDown. Those plans no longer are in affect and it looks like Bayley wants to shut a few people up at the expense of Iyo Sky.

The next person to decide who they're going to face at WrestleMania was Cody Rhodes. After winning the Men's Royal Rumble match for a second straight year, he had to choose between the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship held by Roman Reigns or the World Heavyweight Championship held by Set "Freakin" Rollins. Last night, Reigns decided not to beg Cody to really do anything, he just wanted Cody to make a decision, because to Roman Reigns it makes to no difference to him at all. This brings to me to what Seth Rollins on Monday Night RAW this week, he tried to convince Rhodes to challenge for his title instead of Roman Reigns' championship because Reigns doesn't defending it every week like Rollins with the World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins also pointed out that Reigns will probably try to cheat again to keep the Undisputed Championship as he has been doing during the entirely of his "historic 1,000+ day" run.

I find those words quite funny, and coming from someone who turned his back on Roman Reigns 10 years ago, broke up The Shield, cheated to win Money In The Bank in 2014, then cashed in it on Reigns in the middle of a WWE Championship Main Event at WrestleMania 31, won the belt and cheated to keep it ever since. Look, I'm not trying to compare Rollins to Reigns, but it's all right there in the history books, Rollins even went as far as say that the WWE Championship has become the "Hollywood" and "Hulk Hogan" title and while saying that his title is the "Dusty Rhodes" title. Roman Reigns fired right back at his "little brother" on SmackDown last night, and if you wanna hear what he said, you'll have to look at the video down below, thought I have a strange feeling that it's going to be taken down from this post not long after I've posted, so hurry up watch it. While you do KlicKNettars, check out the ending of the segment from last night's SmackDown, which involved The Bloodline, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and a certain People's Champion who is looking for a seat at the Head of the Table.

Rock and Roman Reigns face-off after SmackDown goes
off the air!: SmackDown exclusive, Feb. 2, 2024

So FYI, there's going to be a WrestleMania Kickoff Press Event streaming this Thursday at 7PM EST/4PM PST on Peacock and several social media platforms, but the biggest reason to watch it aside from The Rock, Roman, and Rhodes, is the fact that's going to be held in Las Vegas, a few days before Super Bowl LVIII! Yeah! Just when you a thought SpongeBob performing "Sweet Victory" in that city was surprising enough.
