Our Inside Scoop continues our six-week recap discussion about Marvel Studios' Loki Season Two - streaming now on Disney+ - highlighting the second episode. This one is a little more intense than the last one, and it's got a little cameo from [SPOILER]. WARNING: This piece may contain spoilers, so if you haven't seen Episode Two of Loki Season Two yet, then stop reading now. If you would like to continue at your risk, be my guest.

Mobius and Loki walk into 1977 London as they search for clues about Sylvie's whereabouts. General Dox had ordered a full-on manhunt Sylvie at the end of last week's episode and you won't believe how she's going about it, but we'll get into that later. Mobius and Loki find Hunter X-5 in 1977 London on the Sacred Timeline, where he has been living as film actor Brad Wolfe. After a small chase, Loki brings out his dark side and captures Wolfe with some illusions and spooky shadow powers, which were seen in the trailer of Season Two. They soon capture Brad and bring him to back to Hunter B-15 and the TVA.

Throughout the episode, Mobius and Loki are playing "good cop, bad cop" all while interrogating Brad whose disappearance right after he went searching for Sylvie is claimed to be "extremely suspicious, and he obviously doesn't want anything to do with the TVA anymore, but why? Loki and Mobius fake an "oh no, the God of Mischief has gone mad" situation, with Loki locking Mobius out of the holding cell where Brad is and then trapping Brad inside an increasingly small cube using some sort of device. Loki becomes genuinely scary until Brad finally admits to have abandoned General Dox's mission and reveals Sylvie's location.

Meanwhile, O.B. attempts to repair the Loom to safely accommodate the branching timelines, but discovers he cannot access it without help from the missing Miss Minutes or He Who Remains's aura and informs Casey and B-15. At last, Loki, Mobius, and Brad travel to 1982 Oklahoma and Sylvie working at McDonald's, but despite Loki trying to remind her of their last encounter in the TVA's future, she refuses to involve herself with the organization again. It's seems like nothing can convince her to return and help them figure out their Kang situation, even if entire timelines are at risk.

It isn't long before the situation gets much worse when an increasingly nervous Brad - who really doesn't want to be anywhere but in the TVA or the Sacred Timeline - let's us all in a deep dark secret. He proclaims the group is in mortal danger and Sylvie soon enchants him; through her mind-reading, it's revealed that General Dox never wanted to go after Sylvie, and instead left the TVA with tons of timeline-destroying bombs and plans to simultaneously destroy the branching timelines. Dox took the news about the Time-Keepers being fake and about what happened at the End of Time really personally, and she isn't willing to risk the Sacred Timeline, therefore she would rather sacrifice all the others.

After Brad is back in custody of the TVA, Loki, Mobius, and Sylvie capture Dox, but she has largely succeeded in her and most of her allies have escaped. Dox has erased around 30% of the branching timelines, but there might be some good news at the end of this episode. Casey has tracked Ravonna Renslayer's TemPad on one of the remaining branching timelines, which could be crucial to the rest of the season. Sylvie, however, returns to McDonald's in 1982 Oklahoma with He Who Remains's TemPad in her possession, not wanting to be involved with this any further. We look forward to what happens in Episode Three next week.
