Last week, I said I was working on a few new plans for things that not entirely focused on KlicKNet. After this week's post and the next new episode of FakeTVBox, I will start put those plans into action, and because that KlicKNettars may not be able to see me on this site again until September. It's been a wonderful summer for me, even if it wasn't like anything I did last year, but I'm hoping to find one last fun thing to do before next month. As for you KlicKNettars, you won't have to look far for the next 5-Day Rounder, because I found it right down below.
This Tuesday, I know that Star Wars fans are going to love to here me say this, but the long-awaited new limited series Ahsoka is coming to Disney Plus. From the makers of The Mandalorian comes a new adventure for one of the galaxy's fan-favorite characters in the Star Wars Universe, and I can't imagine it not turning eyes on Disney Plus for the next seven weeks. Go behind the scenes of this new shows before it starts streaming with the help of this week's Sneak Peek of the Week.
Our Inside Scoop for this week will a massive, but quick update on the Double Hollywood Strike across the country. All I can about the SAG-AFTRA Guild, there doesn't seems to be any new coming out from their strike, expect for the fact that they been on strike for more than a month. The Screen Actors Guild claims to be "Very Eager” to return to the bargaining table with the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers soon, but if that were true, then both side would have agreed to have a meeting by now.

The reason why they haven't yet is probably because, the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers have been several meetings with the Writers' Guild of America in hopes to make a new deal that would end the ongoing Writers' Strike. About two weeks ago, the AMPTP made a counterproposal to the WGA who offered up their own deal prior, and just when it seemed like the Writers were going to agree to the studios' deal, they soon ahead other plans. It was clear at that time that there may not be an end to the Writers' Strike by the end of August.

Yesterday, the WGA met once again with the AMPTP for the fourth time all, and the two sides once again try and hammer out a deal before September. Also, studio CEOs spoke amongst themselves as some as such as Netflix’s Ted Sarandos and Disney’s Dana Walden became more directly involved in the process. These bosses have been trying to determine what their next step is in the negotiations as they try and find concessions for the writers who seem skeptical about their intentions because there's really no-telling what the studios what to do.

According to new reports from Deadline Hollywood and The Hollywood Reporter, the WGA had this to say from last night: “Last Friday, 102 days after they walked away from the bargaining table and put us out on strike, the AMPTP offered responses to our proposals in all work areas, We met this week and continued to exchange proposals. We will continue to meet next week.” Management-side sources have expressed optimism, saying that they feel talks are moving along but are not yet at a breakthrough point.

One last thing to put out is that the current Writers' Strike has become long than the one from 2007-2008 with over 109 days, so my predictions that it would carry on all summer came true. It would be a miracle if the studios can make a deal that the Writers will agree to by September, then they'll have to hurry up and meet with the actors who have seen the release dates of some their movie titles delayed and have been forced to halt star promotions of their upcoming projects this coming Fall and Winter.
