Wkly Hit List, 8/12/2023

Big changes are coming this Fall, I just know it. With the channel heading into third anniversary, it's only right to give FakeTV Box a whole new look. There are couple of things I plan on working on, though they may or may not be related to KlicKNet. As for things like the Double Hollywood Strikes, I can only predict that they will end much sooner, it all depends on the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers coming to their senses and coming up a new deal that writers and actors will like. Elsewhere, we got a brand new 5-Day Rounder to make you smile.

A couple of Cedar Fair parks have made huge announcement about their newest attractions coming in 2024. First, Cedar Point announced it was modified its fan-favorite roller coaster, "Top Thrill Dragster" - into "Top Thrill 2." Then on Thursday, Dorney Park announced its first custom roller coaster since 2005, called "Iron Menace," the first B&M Dive Coaster in the Northeast of the United States. It was on that very same day that Kings Island would announced its expanding its "Plant Snoopy" area with "Camp Snoopy," a new experience which includes a new family roller coaster called "Snoopy's Soap Box Racers." See how it looks in a brand new Sneak Peek of the Week, haven't one of these in a while.

Kings Island's Camp Snoopy - Snoopy's Soap Box Racers NEW IN 2024

For our Inside Scoop this week, we wanted to look at possible rumors for the upcoming Marvel Studios movie, "Armor Wars." Originally in December of 2020, this was going to be a television series on Disney+ as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Don Cheadle reprising his role as James Rhodes/War Machine. Then in September of 2022, the series was being redeveloped as a feature film, and Yassir Lester was hired to write the script. However with the ongoing writers' and actors' strikes, we have not heard anything about the script, on the other hand, the strikes have caused some serious delays to Marvel Studios' TV Shows and Movies, so we shouldn't expect Armor Wars to come for a long time anyway.

Earlier this week on the social media site formerly known as Twitter, we found two posts from Marvel Leaks (@MarvelLeaks22) - known for "delivering all the possible Marvel News, Leaks and much more!" - that are leaked plot details about the movie. While these are two different stories, they very interesting to read unless you're not a fan of Iron Man and War Machine. Take a look at the picture down below and take some time to read it.

Here are some takeaways from this rumored plot: people were hoping that the Secret Warriors would appear in Secret Invasion, but that never happened. A team-up between between War Machine and Daisy Johnson, if they can get Chloe Bennett on board to reprise her character from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm not sure about US Agent in the movie since he'll appearing in Thunderbolts, but there's a new rumor out that someone will play Mockingbird in the MCU. I would absolutely love to see Ultron return to after almost a decade, it would make logic since for him to be the main villain of Armor Wars since he was created by Tony Stark.

Here another post from the social media site formerly known as Twitter, and I more in love with this leaked plot because the details surrounding are much more accurate and better suited to explain what's next for Rhodey after Secret Invasion. Keep in mind, not only is Armor Wars meant to take place after Secret Invasion, it'll come after the events Ironheart, which is set to premiere next year on Disney+ in 2024. It's possible that we might see Dominique Thorne from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever return as Riri Williams and team-up with Rhodey, take a look.

Damage Control was created in the MCU with the help of Tony Stark, and there are other references from past movies such as The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Spider-Man: Far From Home. A couple of takeaway from these details are as followed: Fontaine will not only be behind the Thunderbolts, but a Iron Army program as well. Justin Hammer will be back after Iron Man 2, which would be long overdue, to help build new suits. Whoever the main villain will be will try and hijack the program, leading to Rhodey forming his own armored team to put an end to it all. One thing's for sure, Tony Stark's legacy is more at stake than ever, and I'm looking forward to any more news and rumors until Marvel Studios' Armor Wars comes to theaters everywhere.
