We still hardly know anything about the upcoming theme park at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal's Epic Universe. We've heard possible names to some of the themed lands and attractions being built on site, but they no confirmation from Universal who will more than likely keep us in the dark until next year. One person on YouTube is able to provide NEW Construction Updates that were going to share with our KlicKNettars in the latest Sneak Peek of the Week.

Massive NEW Construction Updates from Universal's Epic Universe!!

Our Inside Scoop this week about the NFL, and while I could take this time to breakdown the new schedule for the upcoming 2023 season, I'm not going to do that. We're going to discuss how the Washington Redskins Commanders have new owners. Yesterday, it was announced that a group led by Josh Harris, the co-owner of the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and NHL's New Jersey Devils, have reached an agreement to buy the Washington Commanders from owners Dan and Tanya Snyder.

This group plans to pay a record of $6.05 billion for the team, breaking the record for the highest record sale for any sports franchise, previously held by former Waltmart Chairman Rob Walton who bought the Denver Broncos for $4.65 billion. This new deal with the Commanders is subject to NFL approval since yesterday and according to ESPN.com, "league owners will receive an update on the sale agreement at the May 22-23 league meetings in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with any potential vote occurring in the coming months. Approval by at least three-quarters of the league's owners and other customary closing conditions will be needed for the transaction to go through.

For those wondering why we've chosen this story is because I want to discuss the possibilities of what could happen now the Commanders have new owners. Will this mean that the Commanders will be a better team in the years to come or will they still continue to S-U-C-K? When a sports team has new owners, there are often new changes to their culture and franchise, their biggest object is making it to the top and winning a championship when the season comes to an end. The new owners can hire new staff for the team and help acquired new and talented players improve the roster. It's always "championship or bust" in these situation, the Brooklyn Nets know exactly what I'm talking about.

As some already know, the Washington Commanders have been through a lot, their franchise, which hasn't won a playoff game in 18 years, was once on top of the world. From 1971 to 1992, the team played in five Super Bowls and won three. The franchise finished with double-digit regular-season wins 13 times and posted only two losing records. In 1988, coming off a second Super Bowl victory, the team's waitlist for tickets at RFK Stadium, its home until 1996, was close to 39,000. However, the good ol days are over for this team, and here's a refresher why.

The past three years have been one of the more chaotic periods in Commanders franchise history because of a series of issues. They announced in July 2020 that they would retire its former nickname, the Redskins. Later on, The Washington Post published a report revealing episodes of alleged sexual harassment by former team employees and highlighting a workplace culture accused of being toxic. That led to the NFL investigating the situation, with multiple stories uncovering more strife and accusations and, finally, a $10 million fine for the franchise levied by the league.

We shall come the upcoming 2023 season if things will get better for the Washington Commanders, though it may take years for them to do so and right now all they can do be who they are now and stay at the bottom of the pit while others look to make a run for the Super Bowl and the NFL Championship.
