We are about a month away from The End of The Flash on The CW, lots of "The" in that sentence. We've been watching the ninth and final season go on with each episode get better than the last, but now the show is taking a one-week break and will return with an all-new episode on Wednesday, April 26th. What makes the next one so special is because it features a very special appearance from the Green Arrow himself Oliver Queen, Stephen Amell. If you have seen the trailer that was dropped earlier this week, fear not fellow KlicKNettars because we have it right here in our Sneak Peek of the Week.

Without any further ado, Inside Scoop this week is about Star Wars, the Universe Far Far Away in an unknown made-up galaxy I think. This weekend, I thought I would be out somewhere in New York City filming a short film as PA; a PA ladies and gentleman is a Production Assistant assists with general tasks on a film, television, commercial or digital media production. Now, I can spend the next five minutes or so telling you all the responsibilities of a Production Assistant but that's not what we're here for, we're here because thanks to the fact that I'm free this weekend I can tell KlicKNettars about the latest Star Wars News.

During the first day of the celebration, a theatrical release poster for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was announced, followed by a new trailer. It seems pretty weird that they would do this simply because it's called the Star Wars Celebration, not the Indiana Jones Celebration or the Lucasfilm Celebration, or the "I Don't Know What Kind of Celebration This is Supposed to Be" Celebration, but moving on. Three new Star Wars films were announced yesterday that are in development as we speak, so with that in mind, we're going to breakdown each of these movies and why Star Wars fans should very interested with what lies ahead for this Universe.

In no particular order, these movies will be directed by James Mangold (Logan, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny), Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian, Ahsoka), and Academy Award-and Emmy Award-winning director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (Ms. Marvel, Saving Face). We've already talked about this back on March 25th, so I guess you can say that we're continuing coverage of the latest Star Wars news. Now here's what is new, James Mangold’s movie will go back to the dawn of the Jedi, described as "a sprawling “Biblical epic” set 25,000 years in the past before the current and any known timeline in the Star Wars universe." Furthermore, it will explore the origins of the mysterious power known as The Force.

Not only will Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy be directing a brand new Star Wars film, but she’s directing a sequel to 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. Daisy Ridley will once again to play Rey Skywalker who will build a new Jedi Order 15 years after the events of Episode IX, that must mean that Rey is gonna be mad. Last month, it was reported that writers Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson left the project in and that Steven Knight would take the helm as screenwriter for Obaid-Chinoy, also filming for this Rey-led movie will begin in February 2024, next year.

Last but not least, Dave Filoni will direct a film focused on the "New Republic," and close out the interconnected stories told in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and other series on Disney+ like The Skeleton Crew. The reason why I saved this for last before we wrap up is because I really liked this idea, Dave's been creating this story since 2019 when both The Mandalorian and Disney+ debuted to the world, and now Star Wars will soon have its own Avengers: Endgame. Making all these streaming shows and then to have a culmination film is an absolute genius work of art, imagine if Marvel Studios took a page out of this and they created a whole new universe based on the Young Avengers. It would feature one particular member of the Young Avengers starring in their own TV shows on Disney Channel or Disney Plus and then they all come to together on the big screen in theatrical film. This universe could also feature other Disney franchises like Frozen, The Descendants, Raya and the Last Dragon, maybe even Big Hero 6, it could have the name "Disney's World of Heroes," in fact, I've been writing this whole idea in a beaten-up notepad I've had since 2019.

But to keep it in the Star Wars Universe, there has been an official timeline announce at the Celebration for all the movies, shows, video games, and other bits of content. So let's break it down: there's Dawn of the Jedi, which we just talked about focuses on the discovery of the Force and the first Jedi. there's The OId Republic which covers the early days of the Jedi, The High Republic that covers thousands of years during the height of the Jedi's reign on the galaxy, Disney+'s The Acolyte will be the first live-action project taking place in this era. Then there's Fall of the Jedi which is basically the prequel trilogy between 1999 and 2005, not to mention Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Reign of the Empire is between the prequel trilogy and the original one, it includes Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Bad Batch, and Andor, and maybe even Star Wars Rebels I really don't know.

Age of the Rebellion is the first era that fans were introduced to back in 1977, then there's The New Republic (also known as the MandoVerse) which precedes the sequel trilogy and the introduction of the First Order. In this era, the New Republic comes to power, with fragmented factions of the former Empire strewn about the galaxy, and we all know what Dave Filoni to conclude everything. Rise of the First Order as we all know covers the sequel trilogy where an Empire successor comes to power, fans see destruction and tyranny throughout this era, and to cap it off with the re-awakening of the Force and the Jedi. Finally, the second new era of storytelling was announced at the Star Wars Celebration as New Jedi Order and it will begin with Rey in her own movie directed by you know who. Star Wars fans can't wait to see what's next for their favorite franchises, for they really hope that Lucasfilm can turn things around for the best.
