Wkly Hit List, 2/25/2023

Wkly Hit List back from hiatus, the reason for it is that my crew and I were celebrating somebody's 27th Birthday last Saturday. Their name starts with K and ends with a Xander. Oh my gosh, It just occurred to be while I wrote this piece that we're gonna be off again next week, Saturday March 4th, that's so we can watch the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards LIVE and live tweeting during the show. Senior Correspondent Kwame Alexander might do a special FTB 60 on YouTube Shorts discussing all the winners from the KCAs, so KlicKNettars better stay glued to their screen and find out what happens. Everyone had better stay glued right now because an all-new 7-Day Rounder has arrived.

We've been keeping a close eye on the construction process of Universal's Epic Universe Park in Orlando, Florida and we've been waiting for the right time to do a FakeTV Box episode on it as well. By the way, we have our next new episodes of FakeTV Box planned out, with it all leading up to the 100th Episode. That BIG event however, will not be a LIVE stream but will be a One Hour Special looking back at some of the best moments since 2021. Moving back to what I was saying about Epic Universe, there's been new progress on some of the roller coaster being built for the park when it opens in the Summer of 2025, see what Theme Park Stop found for us in the latest Sneak Peek of the Week.

Universal's Epic Universe News Mega Update —
TOP HAT INSTALLED, COASTER RUMORS AND NINTENDO PORTAL

Our Inside Scoop this week is about the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically Phase 5 and Phase 6 which, along with the heavily criticized Phase 4, make up the Multiverse Saga. There have been many rumors about how the Multiverse Saga will end with Marvel Studios' Avengers: Secret Wars being the last chapter of this five or six years-long journey. If you haven't seen Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, please do and ignore all the critics who hated it because this movie proves its importance to the Multiverse Saga, in fact its sets up The Avengers upcoming battle with Kang (or the Kang Dynasty) coming to theaters in 2025.

Now, here are three interesting rumors that I dug up on Twitter in the past couple of weeks which if proven to be true, they could bring us one of the greatest Marvel Studios movies of all time.

not sure if we discussed this first rumor on our blog before, but either way it will be interesting to all viewers when they hear it again or for the first time. A while back, we heard that Avengers: The Kang Dynasty might be the start of a huge Avengers Trilogy and coupled with a two-part Avengers: Secret Wars. Phase 7 might be included in The Multiverse Saga in order for the conclusion to have the right quality. This came from a sub reddit that does great message boards and groups chats for fans of Marvel Studios, not I don't have time for these sort of things because you'll often find me tweeting on Twitter and Instagramming on Instagram, yes I just made up the word "Instagramming." My crew found this rumor about a trilogy for me and in my own opinion it would be very cool to see the Multiverse Saga wrap up in a 3-part event in 2025, 2026, and maybe 2027, similar to the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies. Since Marvel Studios plans to delay some projects in Phase 5, they're have some wiggle room with their final cut of their plans.

The second rumor about Avengers: The Kang Dynasty that I liked to talk about is the plan to have Tom Holland as the lead role of the movie playing Spider-Man. Look, we all know that happened to Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the whole earth has no memory of him at all and only know that Spider-Man exists. Peter made a choice to let everyone forget who he is for the greater good of the Multiverse which he nearly screwed, so it would make sense for him to show up in The Kang Dynasty. I believe this rumor to be true because, 1. We all liked to know what Peter's been up to since No Way Home, and 2. He's now an expert on all things Multiverse after meeting his own variants and villains from past Spider-Man movies. When he goes up against Kang on his own, it could be like Iron Man vs Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War, let's hope Peter is still in one piece after this encounter.

The third and final rumor is about the line-up for the new team of Avengers, there are so many possibilities behind this one and we might like what you're about to hear. People are suggesting Sam Wilson aka the new Captain America, Shuri aka the new Black Panther, and Shang-Chi are set to lead the team. This could be the new Big 3 of the MCU that will replace Iron Man, Steve Rogers' Captain America, and Thor? I was hoping it would be Captain Marvel, Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, Doctor Strange, but this is kinda better. I can almost picture Sam, Shuri, and Shang-Chi on the big screen right now facing off against Kang, but more importantly leading the New Avengers into battle, and also having the help of Namor whom Kang Dynasty writer Jeff Loveness confirmed would be in the movie as well.

This is some pretty cool stuff, even just as exciting as the rumor about Jonathan Majors possibly showing up in The Fantastic Four, and the sequel to Shang-Chi. This would make Kang as the only MCU Big Bad, or Avenger-level Threat, beside Loki to have more appearances in the franchise than Ultron and Thanos. Above all, Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will be in my opinion will be more dramatic than Infinity War and can serve as the perfect lead-in for Avengers: Secret Wars in 2026. Wonder where I'll be when that movie hits theaters.
