For what might be our last Inside Scoop of the year, we're going to talk about the January 6 Final Report which has hit all the news sources. In this scoop, we're going to look two news articles online which I found most interesting and could tell the most important facts and details about this report. According to CNN, the House select committee that investigated the January 6, 2021, insurrection has recommended barring former President Donald Trump from holding office again. It is among the conclusions of a comprehensive overview of the bipartisan panel’s findings on how Trump and his allies sought to overturn the 2020 presidential election, the report was released late Thursday evening.

There are outlines 17 findings from the committee's investigation that underpin their reasoning for criminal referrals, such as:

1. Trump’s false victory declaration was ‘premeditated’
2. Millions of dollars were raised on false claims, but RNC showed caution to not go too far
3. Trump privately called some of Sidney Powell’s election claims ‘crazy’
4. Trump refused to act as riot unfolded
5. Aide characterized Trump’s tone on January 6 as, ‘can you believe this sh*t?’
6. Pro-Trump lawyer Kenneth Chesebro was architect of fake electors plot
7. Lawyers should be held responsible
8. Electoral Count Act reform
9. Trump and his inner circle engaged in ‘at least 200’ attempts to pressure state officials
10. Trump WH called John Eastman on the day he wrote his memo

I believe that these are ten findings I could pull from CNN.com, still all of which prove that the committee is more than right to have Trump barred from holding office, in fact if he does his 2024 Presidential Campaign will be canceled before it really got started. Now we come to the second news article and I thought could explain this story a bit more, and it comes from Politico. The site has reported that: "Cobbling together nearly 1,200 witness interview transcripts and hard-won documents, the 845-page report uncovers themes and patterns that select panel members clearly hope are of use to the Department of Justice."

Once again they are more than right, and Politico has made seven of its own takeaways from the final report: 1. ‘I don’t recall’  Dozens of select committee witnesses displayed a startling penchant for forgetfulness about one of the most memorable periods of their lives — an attempt by a sitting president who they worked for to subvert a democratically administered election. 2. The interconnected plot   The contours of Trump’s effort to subvert the transfer of power were well-known ahead of the select committee’s final report. However, the document adds extraordinary texture and detail to significant elements of his scheme. 3. Legislative recommendations, at long last  One of the select panel’s top recommendations — modernizing a 135-year-old election law that Trump and his allies sought to exploit on Jan. 6 — could soon become law, even if it’s not in the exact form members first proposed. An overhaul of the law borne from a Senate gang’s bipartisan negotiations was included in the year-end government funding legislation that’s soon expected to reach Biden’s desk.

4. Surprising side notes  The committee received details from James Watkins — operator of far-right message board 8chan/8kun, Former Attorney General Bill Barr, Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah, and Democratic Senator Mike Warner of Virginia who all revealed what it was like on January 6th, 2021. 5. The names that don’t appear — A few big names who drew huge public attention during the committee’s probe don’t get much ink in the committee’s final report. Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, isn’t mentioned at all, despite a long-running drama over her pre-Jan. 6 texts to then-Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows. 6. Rocky rollout — The select committee has lived in perpetual concern about having its final product likened to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Russian meddling in the 2016 election, a massive investigation whose significant findings were obscured by a bone-dry presentation. 7. Notable sources — The select committee’s report shows the depth of its investigation and ability to collect surprising primary source documents from Jared Kushner, Mike Roman, John Eastman, Rudy Giuliani, and the National Archives.

After everything we have looked over, it's safe that the new year will not be a pleasant one for Former President Donald Trump if the Department of Justice if they chose to go through with the criminal referrals in his role in the January 6 riot and the field for the 2024 President Race could be an open forum if he is barred from ever holding office again.
