Wkly Hit List, 11/12/2022

Hope that everyone has a wonderful Veteran's Day and a great Election Day, and I certainly hoped that everyone is having a better week than me. I don't always like to share what's going on in my personal life, when it comes to Wkly Hit List we're supposed to have fun, but the end of the week has anything but fun. The good news, Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is now in theaters honor the life and memory of an entertainment icon, the bad news is we lost two entertainment icons yesterday. For more on these stories, we go now to our newest 7-Day Rounder.

In a first time ever on Wkly Hit List, this week's Sneak Peek of the Week is a two part edition. Not too long ago, Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania announced that it's turning its Wildcat Wooden Roller Coaster into a RMC Steel/Wood Hybrid Coaster that will opened later in 2023. This time......it's Wildcat's Revenge.

Our Inside Scoop this week is continuing coverage of the 2022 Midterm Elections, which we started last Tuesday on our FakeTV Box Election Night livestream. We don't know if any new results will become breaking news as I read this piece, but it would nice because we could just jump right into it and we would have something new to talk about. As it stood when we wrote this piece, Democratic Party and Republican Party are tied for control of the US Senate 49-49.

Just yesterday on Friday, Democrat Mark Kelly defeated Republican Blake Masters in Arizona's close general election for Senate. If Republicans want control of the Senate, they have to win two remaining Senate races that haven't been decided. Those who be the Georgia Senate Runoff between Warnock and Walker, and the Nevada race between Laxalt and Cortez Masto. Democrats have an easier path to the Senate, if they win one or both remaining races, they will still keep control. However, the US. House of Representatives might be decided any time now.

According to these maps from NBC News, the House is likely going towards Republicans despite the fact that there are tons of races still undecided. NBC News believes that when all the results are in, the Republicans will beat the Democrats 220-215 and take control the House. But other news outlets like CNN have a different score to tell, according of them Democrats are trailing Republicans in the House 203-211, and shocking enough, reporters are saying there's a chance Democrats will retain the House if they win most - if not all - of remaining races left, but it won't be easy. It would like The Flash trying to save Iris from Savitar in Season 3, that was a great season by the way, and it was the first full season I watched on The C. Moving on, Democrats have flipped 6 red seats, while the Republicans have flipped 19 blues seats and have a +15 net gain.

The key states that could determine the final outcome of the House Election are:

  • Alaska
  • Arizona
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Maine
  • New Mexico
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Washington

That's a total of nine states, the number could dwindle down by the time anyone reads this piece or watch our upcoming LIVE episode of Wkly Hit List. If Republicans do win the House, and Democrats retain the Senate, it will be will as I predicted from the last Wkly Hit List. We'll have a split US Congress, making it impossible for The Biden Administration to push their agenda before the 2024 Election, as President Joe Biden hasn't officially declared yet that he's running for re-election, but there someone could be making an announcement real soon.
