After 39 days of being away from the blog, we are finally back for a new era of the Wkly Hit List. Good news here is: We're back on the weekend. The Bad News is: we missed a lot of stories we could have talk about last month, and we we're planning a return on last week on October 1st. but something else came up at the last minute. It doesn't matter now, what matters is that we're back and we can't to see what we do on Saturdays going forward. To kick things off real quick, we've got a new and improved name to our Round-Up for every week, you may or may not remember but we called it back last Summer, the 7-Day Rounder.

You might have notice that on our blog, we put up a casting and crew call for NickCam, a Brooklyn College Thesis Film based on the original story of NickCam, the Fake TV series. The creator of this blog and all things KlicKNet has been extremely hard at work trying to get this project up and running. We can now update that Kwame, the Creator has gotten 39 submissions from actors and crew workers who want to be apart of this project. Rehearsals are schedule November 17th and 18th and actual shooting of the film happens on the first weekend of December, December 2nd through the 4th. You won't know who will be in the cast a week from now, but on the bright side, you'll see what The Super Mario Bros. Movie is gonna be like next year. The teaser trailer for this animated movie from Universal, Illumination and Nintendo dropped earlier this week, but to those who haven't seen it are in for a treat with the first Sneak Peek of the Week in a long time.

Our Inside Scoop this week concerns Marvel, specifically the Marvel Cinematic Universe, soon-to-be ruined by Deadpool. It's a real shame that we couldn't come back last week because we would have the chance to talk about a new development for one of Marvel Studios' project that was announced two years ago. Armor Wars starring Don Cheadle as War Machine was first announced as a six-episode series on Disney+.

Before and After

However not much has been new to say about this project, aside from Walton Goggins set to reprises his role as Sonny Burch from Ant-Man and the Wasp, the news from D23 Expo that Armor Wars will take place after Secret Invasion, and we got this new logo you see above.

Walton Goggins

The bog shock from last week was that Marvel Studios has decided to rework the series into a feature film, with Cheadle remaining with the project, as well as the writer of Armor Wars Yassir Lester. People are calling it a right move for Marvel Studios because the six-episode order wouldn't have worked as great, unless it had the same high quality as the average MCU movie we're all so accustom to in theaters. Fans have theorized what might happened now that Armor Wars is a movie, we could see certain fan favorite characters from the Iron Man franchise return, and there is one that I'm hoping will but I won't say their name.

Where could Armor Wars end up?

As for when we could see this new movie, will likely happen in Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since we know that Phase Four is coming to an end this year and Phase Five is already loaded for the next two years. If I could make a predictions I would say that we could see it just before the two Avengers films set to premiere in the same year, but that would mean we Marvel fans would have to wait until 2025. Either way, it's great hear something new about a project your most interested and will soon be getting a lot of attention like Black Panther: Wakanda Forever or the Werewolf by Night Halloween Special, or Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. All and all, can't wait to Armor Wars, especially since there's going to multiple armor suits in this movie, and there is one suit that I'm hoping will show up but I won't say what it is.
