Wkly Hit List, 8/2/2022

Happy August, which means that we are now in the dog days of summer. I hope everyone has some sort of plan this month to end their summer vacation. I've got a few that are sure to work out okay, but I won't tell you KlicKNettars what they are, that is between me, myself, and I. Later on I'm going to discuss what the fall season holds for KlicKNet with our two hit shows on the channel about to meet some new changes that everyone is going to love. The creator of KlicKNet (which is real me) might be a little busy as it is this Fall, for at the end of the month it will be time to return to college to begin Senior Year. They say "your College Senior Year is always better than your High School Senior Year," and we all have to make the most of what will likely be the last days in school before it's time to get a job. For the time being, all of KlicKNet will focus on making the brand grow bigger and bigger, it has its own Facebook page up and running, and believe it or not, I was able to set up an Instagram account for KlicKNet. It just came out of the blue yesterday, just like how this new 7-Day Round-Up is blue all over.

Wkly Hit List is returning to weekends for the first time since this past Spring, we're celebrating FakeTV Box's second birthday next month in September, and we've got brand new episodes in the pipelines for all the KlicKNettars out there. As for today's post, we're going to be doing things much different from before and it all starts with a new Sneak Peek of the Week. While Star Wars fans were treated by ABC's Good Morning America with a new trailer for the upcoming Disney+ series: Andor, streaming September 21st, Pixar fans can look somewhere else for the all best Pixar news. You see, during Disney Investors Day on December 10, 2020, Pixar announced an animated series starring one of the company's most famous characters: Lightning McQueen and Mater. The Cars duo is traveling the country while meeting friends, new and old in "Cars on the Road." Now the show will start streaming on Disney+ beginning September 8th, the same day as Disney+ Day and one day before the D23 Expo 2022.

Our Inside Scoop this week concerns the D23 Expo next month starting Friday, September 9th. The Ultimate Disney Fan Event was supposed to take place last year in 2021, and we all know by now the reason why it didn't. But that okay with Disney because according to them the delay is going to allow them to use the Expo to highlight all their plans for the 100th anniversary of the Company next year in 2023. This upcoming Expo is expected to have more exclusive first looks at Film and TV projects, upcoming attractions, and celebrity appearances than the last one. Speaking of attractions, D23 released a news article last week that Disney Parks will have new pavilions, captivating panel presentations, and exclusive retail experiences at the Expo.

Also according to the D23 team: "D23 Expo attendees will be the first to learn about never-before-seen details of new themed lands, attractions, shows, and so much more!" The name of the Parks Panel held on the Hall D23 stage is "A Boundless Future" and hosted by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro on September 11th. The main pavilion at the Expo will be "The Disney Parks and Experiences Wonderful World of Dreams," inviting attendees to step into new stories, attractions, and adventures Walt Disney Imagineers are bringing to life around the globe.

Many YouTube hosts like DSNY Newscast and Orange Grove 55 have been making their predictions about what we might see get announced by Disney Parks at the Expo, and let's just say "they're really bold predictions." With that in mind, I would like to make my own predictions about the Disney Parks panel and pavilion right now by using different rumors from almost each of the twelve Disney Parks in the world. We'll start with:

Shanghai Disneyland Park
  • Opening Date for Zootopia Land
Tokyo Disneyland
  • New Update on Tokyo's Space Mountain
Tokyo DisneySea
  • Open Date for Fantasy Springs
  • Model of the Springs at the Parks Pavilion
Disneyland Park Paris
  • Major New Attractions; Maybe Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
Walt Disney Studios Park
  • New Attraction at Avengers Campus Paris; Maybe Black Panther
  • New Update on Paris' Arendelle: World of Frozen
  • Third Themed Park Land at Studios Park; if not Star Wars, than a different theme
Hong Kong Disneyland
  • New Update on Hong Kong's Arendelle: World of Frozen
  • Avengers E-Ticket Announcement
Disney's Hollywood Studios
  • New Attractions; Maybe Re-theme Rock ‘n Roller Coaster to anything
Disney's Animal Kingdom
  • Zootopia takes over Dino Land, U.S.A
  • Pandora: World of Avatar Expansion
  • New Show
Epcot
  • New Update on World Showcase, World Discovery, World Celebration and World Nature
  • Colombia Pavilion Announcement: Encanto Attraction
  • UK Pavilion Re-Announcement: Mary Poppins [Attraction] Returns
  • Play! Pavilion Update
  • Moana Update
Magic Kingdom
  • Opening Date for TRON Lightcycle Run Coaster
  • Major New Attraction; Maybe at Tomorrowland
  • Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Update
Disney California Adventure
  • New Attraction at Hollywood Land
  • AVENGERS E-TICKET RE-ANNOUNCEMENT
Disneyland Park Anaheim
  • Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Update
  • Tomorrowland Overhaul
  • New Toontown Re-theme Announcement
  • Opening Date for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway
Disneyland Forward
  • THIRD THEME PARK ANNOUNCEMENT
  • NEW ENTERTAINMENT AND SHOPPING COMPLEX

By looking at each park at a time, I was able to determine what's wrong with them, what's missing, what could be added and what could be removed. Disney Parks fans across social media say that it's impossible for some projects that either cancelled or postponed to receive a re-announcement and make a comeback in the future. Two of which I'm talking about are the Mary Poppins attraction at Epcot and the Avengers E-Ticket Ride at DCA, but I would say that Disney Parks, Experiences and Products would be a fool not to bring these back, especially the Big Avengers Campus attraction because it's the only new thing DCA can offer in the future. Considering the names and theming for both the Parks Panel and Pavilion at D23 Expo, I also believe that the company is gonna go over-the-top with these new projects like never before. Here's my big wild card predictions: If all goes smoothly between the City of Anaheim and Disneyland Resort, then we might get something similar to how Universal Orlando announced Epic Universe three summers ago.
