Our Main Topic this week is on Movies, we all love movies, we love all kinds of movies. Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Families, Horror, Romance, Sci-Fi, and Thriller. With the Oscars just a few weeks away, why don't we talk about a movie that everyone's dying to see for a long time, Deadpool 3 which is the sequel to Deadpool 2 which was the sequel to Deadpool 1. I wasn't crazy about Deadpool, but after seeing two movies about him, I understood why he's such a fan-favorite character in the Marvel Universe and soon he'll be coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For six years, Deadpool 3 has been in the pipeline and after the release of Deadpool 2, the studios formerly known as 20th Century Fox was also planning to do a movie about X-Force. But then came the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company, causing all X-Men films in development to be cancelled, including X-Force and Fox's version of Deadpool 3, with Marvel Studios taking control of the franchise. But that's ok because former Disney CEO Bob Iger said that Deadpool would be integrated with the Marvel Cinematic Universe under Disney, and the character's films could remain R-rated "as long as we [they] let the audiences know what's coming." For now here's what we know what's coming: Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are returning from the last 2 Deadpool films to write the third one. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige reveal in January 2021 that the sequel will be Rated R and will be set in the MCU; filming is likely to commence in later this year. Just last week, Shawn Levy, who had previously collaborated with Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project, was revealed as the film's director, that brings us to a brand new WebChoice playlist where people are talking about Levy getting the chance to direct a superhero movie.
