The Last UPDATES of 2021

This is a special Monday edition of This Week's Updates and they are the last ones of 2021. The reason we're doing this on a Monday is because I was too tired from Christmas to start writing a post on Saturday and into Sunday. So, I'm wrote this whole thing today and I hoped it would be done before a new episode of my show FakeTV Box came out on YouTube. It's been a much better year than the last and for next year, all we hope for is see this COVID pandemic finally come to an end. Before we go even further, let's look at our last 7-Day Round-Up of 2021.

The NFL Playoff Picture has become a little more clearer, so far, six teams have clinched a playoff berth of their own. Four of these team have clinched their own divisions, even better, there was a lot of changes in the standings this weekend with teams taking the lead in their own division and could likely win them. While looking at today Max Sports rundown, you'll see hoe much the standing have changed, but not forget about other games and events in NBA and WWE, and the "return" of NHL action.

Our Main Story this week is our latest review on the Disney+ Series, Marvel Studios' Hawkeye and its season finale last week. WARNING: This piece contains spoilers for the sixth and final episode, so if you haven't seen it yet, then stop reading and move on towards the end this post.

Clint and Kate have learned that Kate's mother, Eleanor Bishop has been in partnership with Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin from the start, she killed Jack Duquesne's Uncle Armand and framed him for the murder and for being the CEO of Sloan Limited. Eleanor meets with Kingpin to break off their partnership which does not pleases Fisk one bit, later he finds out that Maya Lopez is getting close to the truth about her father's death and orders Kazi to do something about.

On Christmas Eve, Clint and Kate attend Eleanor's holiday party and they've got some backup in the form of grills and the LARPers from the park. Kate confronts her lying mother and learns that her father owed money to Kingpin, that's why Eleanor was working with him. Still, Kate doesn't but into any of this, however things get more serious when Kazi attempts to assassinate Eleanor on Kingpin's orders, but targets Clint instead, now it's time for our two heroes of the show to take action, the LARPers and Jack, who is cool with Kate now, help with the evacuation of the party, and after Maya incapacitates Kazi, Kate attempts to look for her mom , but then she meet Yelena Belova again, who is still after Clint. After a girl's fight between, Belova comes close to killing Clint who ends in the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree and meets an Owl.

Kate does the unthinkable and knows the big tree in order to get Clint to safety, I found this scene to be shocking because you never see anything like that in real life. Together, the LARPers, Jack, Kate and Clint to defeat Tracksuit Mafia with armor, swords and a whole lot of trick arrows. Belova the confronts Clint and who demands the truth of her sister's death, this leads to a huge fight, but Clint reminds Yelena of his friendship with Natasha and her sacrifice to save the universe in Avengers: Endgame. So, Belova spares his life and leaves, elsewhere Kingpin tries to stop Eleanor from escaping, but Kate arrives and incapacitates him with Clint's trick arrows. Afterwards, Eleanor is arrested for Armand's murder and Kingpin escapes, but is confronted by Maya, who had just killed Kazi and knows that Kingpin had her father killed, a gunshot is heard though we don't know if Kingpin is still alive. I would be super-mad if they brought Kingpin back to the MCU just to kill him off for good.

In the final moments of the episode, Clint returns home just in time for Christmas Day just like he promised his family, and he brings Kate and Lucky the Dog with him. He gets back the watch that the Tracksuit Mafia tried to steal and gives to his wife and Laura. Turns out the watch belongs to her and it reveals that she's a former agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., maybe even Mockingbird. The episode concludes with Clint and Kate burning the Ronin suit and head back happily to celebrate Christmas with the Barton family. After writing all of this, let's see what the reaction is on YouTube with the help of a brand new Web Choice playlist.
