This Week's UPDATES
So much has happened this week, so much good news and bad news, and I don't where to begin, but let's not make this about me. Let's scroll down now to this week's 7-Day Round-Up and to lemme just say this, it's feels very different from all the rest.
It's the year 2021, and the 2020 Summer Olympics are underway as we speak, and we will be tracking the medal count for the next week and half to see how the top countries can not only survive these games, but to do it during a pandemic as well. We are also looking into the games talking place in the MLB this weekend, with the NHL now in the off-season, the NFL coming soon, the NBA season over and the Milwaukee Bucks NBA Champions for the first time in 50 years, we have nothing to look forward this Summer but baseball and some wrestling as well. Let's see what we got in a new MaxSports rundown.
Our Main Topic this week is on the Summer Olympics, and lemme just say something from my perspective, I don't know if it's safe or not to hold the games during the COVID-19 pandemic. One good reason why is because the whole wide world is not fully vaccinated from this virus, despite how things are looking up in the United States, other countries are not having that same luck in getting people vaccinated. Even more unsettling is that some athletes who were supposed to participate in these Olympics have tested positive for COVID-19, causing one to think that the entire event will be canceled as the last minute. But for now, that has not been case, the people in charge of the Olympics in Tokyo, Japan have found a way to prevent any sort of outbreak and to make sure that the athletes' health is safe. Having said all this, I want to relive with the readers of the this post the outstanding Opening Ceremony in Tokyo with the help of brand new Web Choice playlist.
