Some of the most craziest things can happen in the world while you're at a 2-year-old's birthday party, where you have to use a porta potty outside as the only source of bathroom, and where there's also a Backyard Bar where you can just chill all. Heading into the bottom of the sixth inning between the San Diego Padres and the Washington Nationals, gunshots can be heard from outside Nationals Park last night in Washington, D.C. At about 9:30 p.m., a shooting occurred during occurred at N Street and South Capitol Street SW, near the Third Base Gate of Nationals Park, and it was later reported by the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia that it was an isolated incident and believed to be between the occupants of two vehicles. Luckily nobody was killed, but three people were injured and sent to the hospital, and the game was suspended last night until today where it will resume in the afternoon. Our Main Topic this week is unfortunately on shootings occurring way too much in this country, as I just mention, there was a shooting in Washington D.C. Taking place outside Nationals Park where the San Diego Padres were beating up on the Washington Nationals 8-4 in the 6th Inning, when all of a sudden, a shooting occurred near the Third Base Gate. I want to discuss a shooting that actually took place a few feet away from my house, it happened on Wednesday, July 7th just after 1AM in the morning. A 15-year-old and an 18-year-old were shot and injured, and there bullets over the streets. Some were in front of my house and in the driveway, some where went into a house the other side of the street where the shooting took place. I remember how late it was at night, I was in my bedroom getting ready to go to sleep, when suddenly gunshots were coming outside and I jumped off the bed and got down to the floor, laying on my stomach. When the gunshot were over, I looked out widow and saw people running for their lives, they ran to my right hand side down the sidewalk as the shooting was to my left hand side just a few houses away. Police arrived on the scene police tape right beside my house, not much information has come from that late night incident, it seems like the ongoing investigation is still ongoing, so the incident at Nationals Park.
