 This Week's UPDATES

Hope everyone's enjoying the first days of April, it seems kind of weird to think where we were one year ago today. The COVID-19 pandemic was dominating the whole world and we were left with a sense of hopelessness that this virus would carry longer than we expected, and sadly it did. But look where we are know, vaccines have rolled out across the country and a few other places in the world, although it's not time to party yet as the pandemic is far from over. I believe that I'm going to take the vaccine sometime this Spring, and even though that my Community College graduation this June will be held virtual this year, if everything goes successfully in my transfer into a new school, then I will be fully vaccinated to attend in-person classes in the fall. Having said of this, time to sample this week's 7-Day Round-Up with some exciting news from last week now seen across the board.

When Jalen Suggs hit that three-point buzzer beater in the Final Four last night, I nearly screamed my voice, but I had a feeling that Gonzaga was gonna make it after UCLA tied the game. I would say that UCLA had the best chance more than anyone to break the undefeated streak of Gonzaga as both teams were neck and neck in a game that even went to overtime. But in the end, Gonzaga won 93-90 in OT and now will face Baylor in the 2021 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Game. Elsewhere, the MLB has gone off to rocky start for two good reasons: 1. the St. Louis Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds got into a heated exchange in their game yesterday. 2. the series between the New York Mets and the Washington Nationals was postponed this weekend due to COVID-19 Issues with Nats. So as a Mets fan, I feel completely robbed of seeing my favorite team play on Opening Day and for Opening Weekend. Until then, here's what has to be the biggest Max Sports rundown in recent memory with tons more sporting events coming this week.

Our Main Story this week recaps Episode 3 of Marvel Studios' The Falcon and The Winter Solider on Disney+. WARNING: This piece contains spoilers for the third episode, so if you haven't seen it, then stop reading and move on towards the end this post. Bucky and Sam have gone to Berlin, Germany to pay Helmut Zemo a visit in prison, they need to know where the Flag Smashers got their hands on the Super Solider serum. However, they are unable to get information unless they break Zemo out of jail, and Sam is completely against, but as Bucky is telling Sam his plan to cause a prison riot that will help Zemo escape, it actually comes to fruition. A few new things to know about Zemo is that he's rich, he can bust a few dance moves, and he has his own private jet, once they get on they travel to Madripoor to meet with a woman named Shelby on the whereabouts of the newly created serum, but Sam's sister interrupts the conversation and calls him on the phone thus blowing his cover. A fight breaks out, and Sam, Bucky and Zemo then run into Sharon Carter who is still a fugitive of the United States since Captain America: Civil War, but it looks as though she's enjoying the luxury of it. Having spoken to Shelby, they learn that the so-called "Power Broker" hired a former Hydra scientist named Dr. Wilfred Nagel to recreate the Super Soldier Serum, and he in the process he made twenty doses that where then stolen by Karli Morgenthau. Unfortunately, the bag guys arrive and Zemo kills Nagel and destroys his lab as well, and while bucky, Sam and Sharon are busy fighting, Zemo steals a getaway vehicle. Sharon chooses not to go with them, but Sam promises to have her name cleared of her crimes so she can return home to the United States. While all of this is happening, John Walker and Joaquin Hoskins arrive in Berlin and deduce that Bucky and Sam helped Zemo escape, but decided not to do anything about it until the time is right. Zemo, Bucky, and Sam have now travel to Latvia in search of Morgenthau who has sent the Flag Smashers raid a Global Repatriation Council (GRC) storage facility in Lithuania for supplies the Flag Smashers to raid a Global Repatriation Council storage facility in Lithuania for supplies. The episode ends with a little surprise in the form of Wakanda, word must have gotten out that Zemo has escaped prison, and so Dora Milaje Ayo have been sent to capture him.
