This Week's UPDATES

I have a big update involving: ME! Next Saturday, I'm going to get my first shot of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine from Rite Aid. At first I had my sights set on the COVID vaccine from Johnson & Johnson because it allows you to take only one shot, but after hearing for a while about the risk of rare — and potentially deadly — blood clots caused by it, my mine has changed for the better. I will play it safe by take Moderna's two shot vaccine next weekend, even more interesting, the Rite Aid that I selected to receive it is located several blocks up to my now-pretty-much-former school LaGuardia Community College. Since the start of this pandemic, I have said in my head that I could at least see the LaGuardia campus one last time before I move to with transferring to a new school which is not set in stone just yet. Considering I have to go the Rite Aid I've chosen for vaccination twice, that gives two chance to see my old school twice, and it will a surreal moment as my time on this campus was cut far too short, much like everyone else who enrolled in March 2019 as I did myself. So wish me luck next week, and try to take a close look at this week's 7-Day Round-Up with zero fun topics in it and pretty much a way to sum up how this pandemic been for all of us.

BIG Programming Alert: Tonight is Impact Wrestling's latest pay-per-view event, Rebellion. It's been a while since I've watched Impact Wrestling as the company used to be called TNA. Tonight's PPV is very important because in the main event, Rich Swann will take on All Elite Wrestling's Kenny Omega with both the Impact World Championship and the AEW World Championship on the line in a Winner Takes All Title vs Title match. The outcome of this match change the world of wrestling forever, and though I cannot tell you who I think will win tonight, I can only tell people to keep a close eye out for the main event and watch as they say "history be made." Meanwhile, we've got a ton of games today, and see the latest results from MLB, NBA and NHL in a brand new Max Sports Rundown.

We've have reached the sixth and final episode of The Falcon and The Winter Solider on Disney+, which brings us to out Main Story this week. For the last time, for now, I will say this sentence:  WARNING: This piece contains spoilers for the fourth episode, so if you haven't seen it, then stop reading and move on towards the end this post. The Flag Smashers make their move on the GRC in New York City until Bucky, Sharon, and Sam show up to intervene. Boy, what a dramatic entrance Sam made with not just the shield, but to show up in the new Captain America uniform and flight suit from Wakanda, this my friends is the REAL NEW Captain America of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Sam squares off with Batroc, the gives chase to the helicopter hijacked by one of the Flag Smashers, while Bucky hits the road going after Karli Morgenthau who has take people hostage in two trucks, we also get a load John Walker's custom shield that he made as his focus is on avenging his friend. After Sam saves the helicopter, he goes to help Bucky and Walker save the people in one of the trucks, much to the applause of the citizens in the crowd who are stunned to see the NEW Cap. The Flag Smashers are getting away, until Cap (Sam) and company catch up with them. At this moment, we're hit with something that I honesty did not see coming, Sharon Carter is revealed as the Power Broker before killing Batroc and being shot herself while Sam tangles with Karli. Unable to get through her, Sam is saved by Sharon who shoots Karli dead. After the melee, Sam presents Karli's dead body before confronting the GRC and gives an extraordinary speech to them on world wide television, he asks them to postpone the forced relocation of displaced people that Karli died fighting for and instead make efforts to help them. The GRC takes this into account and does so right away, and you gotta love on look on the faces of Sam's Sister Sarah, Joaquin Torres, Isaiah Bradley, Walker and Bucky for this amazing speech, and I was very proud also to hear it from a person of color. Afterwards, the remaining Flag Smashers are caught and sent to the Raft prison, but they are killed by Zemo's own butler en route, much to delight of Zemo who is in prison listen to the news on the radio. Julia Louis-Dreyfus's character whose full name I cannot say returns and gives Walker a new uniform and codename, which we all knew would be U.S. Agent, and it looks like we're going to more them real soon. Towards the end of the episode, Buck has finished making amends with the people he hurt or enabled as the Winter Soldier, while Sam goes back to Baltimore to meet with Isaiah and his grandson Eli, he asks them to come to the Captain America museum exhibit in Washington D.C. for a surprise. In what was a beautiful moment, Bradley is given a memorial statue dedicated for his services to the United Sates. Finally, Sam and Bucky meet up for a roaring party with the locals friends to Sam's family and as the screen fades to black, the title of the series is changed to: Captain America and the Winter Soldier. But that's not all, in a mid-credits scene, Sharon receives a full pardon as promised by Sam, and having rejoins the CIA, she gets on the phone someone saying that she now has full access to selling government secrets and resources. As it's already been pointed, this could spill a lot of trouble in future MCU project down the line, but let's jus the happy we got to see our NEW Cap proudly take up the shield, it doesn't feel like it someone else's anymore. It's been real fun to recap the whole series, and for reactions to his finale, brace yourself for a ton of guys and gals going nuts in a marvelously new Web Choice playlist.
