 This Week's UPDATES

I think it's safe to say the Spring Break has begun in several places across the country. We could all use a vacation in the times we're living in and I wish I could just get up, pack my bags, and leave the house for a week. But, unfortunately there is no reason for me to go out in the world in the midst of a pandemic, I am however in the middle of a gap semester away from school. Because of this I not only have more time to complete the transfer process from CUNY School to another, but work more on my YouTube channel which has been picking some attention, and you can expect another video to pop up this Thursday. We now turn it over to this week's 7-Day Round-Up which is once again filled with good news and bad news.

Our Main Story this week offers the continuing 6-Episode Saga now streaming on Disney+, Marvel Studios' The Falcon and The Winter Solider. WARNING: This piece contains spoilers for the second episode, so if you haven't seen it, then stop reading and move on towards the end this post. Everyone's just getting to know the new Captain America John Walker who has been making headline everywhere, even on ABC's Good Morning America. He very happy to be taking up the mantle once held by Steve Rogers, but Bucky doesn't like this one bit, and the first person he confronts about this is Sam. While wondering why Sam gave up the shield, Bucky goes with him to Munich, Germany to find the Flag Smashers and their leader Karli Morgenthau who have been smuggling medicine for quite a while. Good news, these Flag Smashers are not part of the "Big Three: Aliens, Androids, and Wizards," bad news is, they all have the Super Solider serum in them. After they get the upper hand Barnes and Wilson, Walker and "probably" his sidekick Lemar Hoskins come to their aid, but Barnes and Wilson have refused many times in this episode that they don't want the new Cap's help. The two decide to take a trip to Baltimore where we're all introduced to Isaiah Bradley, a veteran super soldier who fought Bucky in the Korean War, and his grandson Eli (Hello Patriot). We find out that Isaiah was imprisoned and experimented on by the US government and Hydra for 30 years, which ticks Sam off because Bucky never told anyone that there was a black Super Solider alive, not even Steve. After Bucky gets arrested for missing his therapy appointment with Dr. Raynor, this takes us to the session scene we first saw in the Super Bowl trailer of the series, and learn a little more of what eating at Bucky and why Sam didn't keep the shield. Now needing new intelligence on the Flag Smashers, Sam and Bucky intend to pay visit a to man responsible for breaking up the Avengers in Captain America: Civil War, Helmut Zemo. This episode proves to be better than the first and we'll in much more down the line this week and the next ones, but for now, let's see the reaction of others in an all-new Web Choice playlist.
