As you can seen from the Round-Up, we now know that the NHL will return on January 13, 2021 with a 56-game season. Although, not much is know about how it will be play out, for all seven of the league's Canadian teams are unable to cross borders between the US and Canada. Good news this week, the NBA is back and just in time for the Holidays, we all can't wait to see all 30 teams return after this league's shutdown last March caused a chain reaction in which sports was put on hold due to COVID-19. Find out what's on the Max Sports Rundown today, with College Hoops, the NFL Sunday schedule, the NBA schedule, and the final match card for WWE's TLC pay-per-view tonight.

Our Main Story this week is on the ongoing saga to find a COVID-19 vaccine. Look, i know that Christmas is fast approaching and we all want to escape the news cycle for while. But before the year 2020 is done, I want to inform everyone some new details regarding hope to ending the COVID-19 Pandemic, and so here we go. Last Friday, the United States Food and Drug Administration approved an emergency use authorization for Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine. Like the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine the week before this announcement, the approval by the FDA clears the way for the vaccine to be distributed across the country. Now we're going to spot the differences between this vaccine and Pfizer/BioNTech's vaccine: #1. Pfizer/BioNTech's emergency use authorization is for people aged 16 and older. Moderna’s is for people 18 and older. #2. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine showed a 95% efficacy of preventing symptomatic Covid infection. The Moderna vaccine showed a 94.1% efficacy. #3. Will both vaccines require two shots, Moderna's doses are for 28 days between them; Pfizer/BioNTech's doses are for 21 days. #4. Each dose of Pfizer/BioNTech’s contains 30 micrograms of vaccine. Moderna went with a much larger dose of vaccine with 100 micrograms. #5. The Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine has to be shipped in specially-designed, temperature-controlled thermal shippers that keep conditions around -70 degrees Celsius for up to 10 days. Moderna's vaccine must be shipped at -20 degrees Celsius and can stay stable in refrigeration units between 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for 30 days. For more on Moderna's vaccine, we turn now to the newest #TwitterTrend out there.
