I'm almost reached the finish line in my final semester at LaGuardia Community College, and lemme tell you something, it's been a fascinating past two years. But just as my final classes at LaGuardia are about to come to an end, so is 2020, like me, everyone fantasizes what the year would have been like if there was no coronavirus or a pandemic, what a wonder world that would be. On the bright side, the year 2021 may not be just as dreadful as 2020 and by this time next year, everything may be the way it was before mid-March, and I will be in a different school and in-person no less. Right now, let's get on with the latest Max Sports rundown with Week 13 of the NFL Season finally upon us.

Our Main Story this week continues the ongoing saga and search for a COVID-19 vaccine. The one vaccine that I have talked heavily on this blog is the one made by Pfizer and BioNTech, and there's one other to point out. As told in the Monday section of the Round-Up, Moderna has filed for approval for its COVID19 vaccine in the united States and the European Union, however, the United Kingdom has approved Pfizer and BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine and could begin vaccinations next week, which is now this week. The UK became the first country in the world to approve it for widespread use, and it looks like the United States will be next to do so once the FDA approves it for emergency authorization use for health care workers. This story between the UK and Pfizer/BioNTech is not nearly a week old, but I would like to discuss further details and reactions on it in a special #TwitterTrend coming right up.

The independent regulator authorised the first vaccine for use against COVID-19. This is excellent news and a step towards normality.

It will take until spring until the vulnerable population who wish to are fully vaccinated. We can't lower our guard yet https://t.co/nqe5CGI1v2?amp=1

The vaccine is another step on the road back to normality. We are deeply appreciative of those in science who have helped deliver this good news. We will work collectively as an Executive to ensure it is rolled out across NI. To all those who prayed for this - thank you.

Positive news we’ve all been waiting for - Regulator, the MHR has approved the Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine with phase 1 roll-out starting here with priority groups, including those over 80yrs, care homes and staff, and our heroic health & social care workers.
