I spent Thanksgiving helping my family cook dinner as we usually, we were so busy this time that we barely say the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the two NFL games on television. There were supposed to be three last Thursday, but that all changed and almost a dozen players on the Baltimore Ravens tested positive for COVID-19, causing their game with the Pittsburgh Steelers to be postponed to this Tuesday. As we sat down for Thanksgiving dinner, we got a surprise visit from two of nephews and their mom, and last year they invited us to their home for Christmas dinner, so talk about fair play. I said to myself the whole day that "maybe next Thanksgiving will be better than this one," and that maybe true if the pandemic is long-over by then, but all we can do now is to brace ourselves for what happen could this holiday season. As for this upcoming Max Sports rundown, we've added NCAA College Basketball to the mix as we hope to see how next year's March Madness, but let's take a look now at some of the results and upcoming games this weekend.

Our Main Story concerns Black Friday, the Day after Thanksgiving that's always one of the craziest nights of the year. Aside from sleeping outside their favorite all night in the cold, shoppers also have to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic which is said to get a lot worst this winter, especially in the United States. Unfortunately, a pandemic will not stop Gamers and Shoppers from going to video game stores like GameStop and purchasing the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. They have spent hours camping out outside, and online, hoping to get their hands on the latest gaming consoles and lemme tell you something, I wouldn't be caught dead in the middle of the night trying to buy these things, no matter how cool they look. I mean, when they say they were camping out online, does that mean they stood in front their computers, laptop, tablet, and phone all night waiting for their order to be completed?, and, Did they camp out in front of their houses waiting for the consoles to be delivered to their front door? To better understand people have gone through this Black Friday 2020, let's get some visual aid courtesy of today's brand new #TwitterTrend.

While normal Thanksgiving shopping lines were almost nonexistent today, a few people are spending the night outside local GameStop stores, hoping to snag an Xbox or PlayStation

Any guesses on what time the people in front got there?

“It’s going to be worth it.”

People line up to be among the first inside @GameStop in Hartford when it opens Friday at 7:00am. They’re looking to pick up the hot new console @PlayStation 5. Though it’s not clear how many units the store has. #NBCCT

About 8 gamers are already standing in line at GameStop in Salinas to buy a new PS5 or XBOX, which of course, are super hot items right now this holiday season. Get this: THE GAMESTOP OPENS AT 7AM TOMORROW. It’s gonna be a long night for them! I get it though, I’m also a gamer.
Peter Eliopoulos @petereliopoulos
The first of 10 people in line outside of GameStop in #Walpole got here at 9:30 this morning. They’re hoping to buy the highly sought after PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. We’re told this is the scene outside game stores across the area with those consoles.  #wcvb

I just want somebody to love me like these guys love the #Ps5

They skipped Thanksgiving meal to camp outside of @GameStop for 24hrs in Norfolk.

They brought mattresses and bedding. Been here since 6am. Dedication.

One guy told me he drove to ELEVEN @GameStop in #HamptonRoads and this was the shortest line.

They are hoping for either the #Ps5 or #XboxSeriesX  when the store opens 7am Friday.
