I hope everyone will enjoy this week's 7-Day Round-Up, it truly was another a week of twisted and turns in the news cycle, from Los Angeles Lakers fans heading out to the streets and celebrating the team's first NBA Championship in a decade, to early voting across America quickly picking up steam. Election Day is three weeks away and after last Thursday's Dueling Town Halls, America still has to endure one more debate between two candidates and this one will be very important because of how poorly the last night, and there are few questions we all want to know before this week's. Will the President allow Joe Biden speak? Or, will he continue to interrupt his opponent? Is this the President's last chance to speak to the American people in a way that normal Presidents? Or will he continue to mess things up for his own campaign again? Can Joe Biden send a clear message that he's going to put America on the right path? Is Joe Biden going going to have plan for healthcare and COVID-19? Will Joe Biden still be leading in the polls after this debate is over? And once the Election is in hands of America, will we as a country have made the right decision by not only voting this year, but by choosing a president that will act as a true leader and lead us out of these dark times?

We'll just have to wait and see when in the next three weeks, and I lemme just say this, I've been waiting for November 3, 2020 since the day after November 8, 2016, it was like we're actually living in an "Infinity War," and this year "we're in the definitely in the "Endgame" now." Speaking of Endgames, we never expected both the American and National League Championship Series to a full 7 games. The four teams that were left standing have played some incredible baseball in the stretch of a whole week. The Tampa Bay Rays were on the verge on sweeping their series after wining three straight, but the Houston Astros has other plans in mind and won three straight of their own. Just when it seemed like history was going to repeat itself, the Rays finally got the fourth win they needed to clinch a spot in the World Series. Meanwhile, Game 7 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves is tonight and this story is one for the ages, one team seemed to be on the verge of going to the World Series much sooner, while the other team has comeback through thick and thin and force a game seven. Tonight, we'll find out who will face the Rays in the Fall Classic, but let's also take a look at what is going in football and wrestling in an all-new Max Sports Rundown.

Our Main Story concerns Politico, but more importantly, an article I found a few days which as the President's campaign, the Election that is three weeks, COVID-19, and the search for a vaccine for COVID-19, all wrapped up in one. It all got started last Friday when Pfizer, one of the companies working on a COVID-19 vaccine right now, came out and said while its making good progress on making a vaccine with its German partners BioNTech, it will not be ready before Election Day in three weeks. It certainly won't be ready on the day of the Election, instead Pfizer Chairman and CEO Albert Bourla had this to say on behalf of his company:

"As we get closer to an important data readout from our COVID-19 vaccine program, I wanted to speak directly to the billions of people, millions of businesses and hundreds of governments around the world that are investing their hopes in a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine to overcome this pandemic. I know there is a great deal of confusion regarding exactly what it will take to ensure its development and approval, and given the critical public health considerations and the importance of transparency, I would like to provide greater clarity around the development timelines for Pfizer’s and our partner BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine."

"There are three key areas where, as with all vaccines, we must demonstrate success in order to seek approval for public use. First, the vaccine must be proven effective, meaning it can help prevent COVID-19 disease in at least a majority of vaccinated patients. Second and equally important, the vaccine must be proven safe, with robust safety data generated from thousands of patients. And finally, we must demonstrate that the vaccine can be consistently manufactured at the highest quality standards."

"To ensure public trust and clear up a great deal of confusion, I believe it is essential for the public to understand our estimated timelines for each of these three areas." - Albert Bourla

The Chairman and CEO of Pfizer went on to say that they may know whether or not the vaccine is effective by the end of October. But just as important as that, they are also required to prove that it's safe and in achieve Emergency Use Authorization in the U.S., the FDA has asked they give two months of safety data on half of the trial participants following the final dose of the vaccine. According to Bourla, Pfizer has estimated that it will reach such a milestone in the third week of November, sometime during during Thanksgiving, but certainly after Election Day. This brings us to the article I previously mentioned from Politico, it goes out say that "Pfizer delivers final blow to Trump's hope for pre-election vaccine" as the President repeated promises were not kept and will send him back to drawing board. Whether the President knows about this news is not important right now, but what is important to know is that while it seems like we're getting closer to a COVID-19 vaccine, it may as well take until early 2021 for it to become a reality and what happens next afterwards is still a mystery. For more on the news surround Pfizer, here's a #TwitterTrend which has been "the talk of the weekend," according to me that is.
