We are getting closer to the 2020 Election on November 3rd and once again our Commander-in-Chief is doing everything wrong and yet believes he's doing everything that's right in order to win the Presidential Race. Some of the stories you see on the 7-Day Round-Up from up above have been or maybe affected by COVID-19 or racial injustice, and that has proven to be this year, a DEADLY COMBINATION. The Republicans won't have it anymore easy than the President and there's a lot more at stake for them than for him, and on top of that he decides to back to doing in-person rally this weekend after testing positive for COVID-19 from last week. We will have more the ongoing saga that is the 2020 Presidential Election later on, but first let's see what's on the table for today's Max Sports Rundown. More NFL players and team staff members have tested positive for COVID-19, though that hasn't stop from the 2020 NFL season from continuing, also, good news for New York Jets fans after news broke that a player on their tested positive, it was a false alarm, whoever got tested tested negative and so the Jets can no play the Arizona Cardinals at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Down below, you will find what other NFL games are on Sunday as one was moved to Tuesday, and Sunday is also Game 1 of the American League Championship Series and Game 6 of the 2020 NBA Finals, and finally a look at the 2020 WWE Draft with more Superstars getting drafted over the weekend.

Our Main Story is about Debates, like the ones that during a Presidential Election year, people have said that the Vice Presidential debate went a lot more smoothly than the first Presidential debate between Joe Biden and you know who. The second presidential debate been on the spot for the past few days, and not in a good way, to understand where we are now, here's a quick timeline to break it all down. The second debate was scheduled to take place this Thursday, October 15 at 9:00pm at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Florida, but way before then, it was originally going to be held at the Crisler Center at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but the University of Michigan withdrew from it on June 23, over public health concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic. One thing that was confirmed about the second debate on September 2 was that Steve Scully of C-SPAN was to be the moderator of the debate, which would have been in a town hall meeting format. Then on the morning of October 2, just a few day removed from the first debate, the White House press office announced that the president had contracted COVID-19, for one of his close advisers, Hope Hicks, had shown symptoms on a plane returning from the first debate, and subsequently tested positive. The President, along with First Lady Melania, tested positive shortly afterwards and went into quarantine and the president was hospitalized for three days before being released and allowed to return to the White House.

Last Thursday, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that, due to the President's positive COVID diagnosis, the second debate would be held virtually, with the moderator in Miami and the candidates participating remotely. By no one's surprise, Biden agreed to participate while the President refused to take part in a virtual debate and would instead hold a rally, so then the Biden campaign asked to postpone the second debate to October 22, the original date for the third scheduled debate, and scheduled a nationally televised town hall on ABC with George Stephanopoulos this Thursday. Here's where gets even more crazy, the President's campaign would agree to hold the second debate on October 22, but also asked for the third and final debate to be postponed to October 29; the Biden campaign objected to this in a heartbeat, and the commission's co-chairman Frank Fahrenkopf, also stated that no debates would take place after October 22, in spite of the demands of the President's campaign. Finally, we've come now to this past Friday when the commission announced that the second debate was officially canceled and that the third (and final) debate would go forward as originally scheduled, with Kristen Welker of NBC News moderating as planned. It's a shame how this progress kept getting more and more sour until finally we learned that there will be no debate, though I will be watching that Town Hall with Joe Biden. For more details, let's go to the news media with their take on it in a special political Web Choice playlist.
