This Week's UPDATES

I think I'm ready to get things moving after last week's technical difficulties, I bought a new Antivirus Software Program and it should be up and running in a few days. Nothing at all has changed for the better in the global pandemic and who knows the what second wave we are promised will be like, almost as if we can't catch a break from what we're going through now. But we all have to hope that there will be light at the end of the tunnel, so until that time comes, please check out this week's 7-Day Round-Up with some stuff you might find interesting.

7-Day Round-Up
Sunday
New England Patriots pick up undrafted Michigan State Quarterback Brian Lewerke.
Monday
Democratic Presidential primary in New York is officially canceled due to the virus.
Tuesday
According to People Magazine, Glee star Lea Michele is pregnant with her first child.
Wednesday
NBA considers Walt Disney World Resort as a possible location to finish its season.
Thursday
LeBron James reveals the new logo and new title for Space Jam 2 coming in 2021.
Friday
Former VP Joe Biden denies a sexual assault allegation made by a former staffer.
Saturday
Boris Johnson names new son after doctor who treated the Minster for COVID-19.

With no sports events happening anything time soon right now and nothing to look forward but wrestling, there will be no Max Sports Rundown every single day of the week. I am trying to do things different in the time we're all living and I'll never forget the night that the NBA paused it current season, but as I said in the beginning in the post, "We all have to hope that there will be light at the end of the tunnel." Last Wednesday, we were treated with a report that the NBA may resume its season sometime in the late summer and hold everything from teams to players and players' families in a bubble city. The MGM Resorts in Las Vegas has offered to let the NBA and other indoor sports leagues to play in the Vegas Strip, but the logical choice for Pro Basketball right now would be to have it play at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. See some of the details regarding this idea that may just be crazy enough to work in a sports edition of the Web Choice playlist.

Our Main Story this week concerns the Kids Choice Awards, Nickelodeon's premier event where anyone has get covered in mutagen. The awards were supposed to be held at The Forum in Inglewood, California and hosted by Chance The Rapper on March 22. Then along came the Global Pandemic and everything was postponed, but as they have said for a very long time, "the show must go on." So last night, Nickelodeon held a "virtually produced" Kids Choice Awards subtitled: Celebrate Together and hosted by Victoria Justice, formerly from Zoey 101 and Victorious. It was great to see Victoria back on Nickelodeon for the first time in seven years, but check out these facts if you will, even though the KCAs were  held virtually, Victoria is the first woman to host the show since Cameron Diaz in 2004. Victoria is the first woman to host it solo since Rosie O'Donnell in 2003, and it's been since 1999 that the KCAs were held in early May; it was on May 1, 1999 that the show aired on Nick, the  same SpongeBob mad his debut on television. This year, we got to see all kids of Celebrities make an appearance even though they were not in the same room together, but it's glad to know that Nickelodeon had done their best in bringing kids one of their favorite awards show of all-time. Check out some of the winners and moments from last night KCA event in a #TwitterTrend that even warms my heart.
