This Week's UPDATES

Happy Memorial Day Weekend, unfortunately we still have to stay-at-home due to the "who-know-what." All fifty of the United States of America have partially lifted some of their restrictions, but there's still a thing called "social distancing" and not all of us can go outside and enjoy the fresh air. You know, last week I made pancakes all by myself (cough......with a little help from my sister), a few days later, I made them again, all by my self (cough......with a little help from my sister, again!). Last Thursday, I tired something that no one would believe in a million years, I gave myself a haircut, this because no barbershops are open at this very moment in my area. So, I simply went for it and everybody loved it, and the best part about it is that by the time my hair grows back, the barbershops will be opened and I'll be ready to let the professionals do their work on me. For now let's go over this week's 7-Day Round-Up which has little to do with the "who-know-what," up until the end of the week.

Last night, All Elite Wresting hosted its Double or Nothing pay-per-view without fans in attendance at the Daily's Place and the TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Florida. However, the show was very entertaining from start to finish to say the least, as Brian Cage made his debut by winning the Casino Ladder match, Cody becoming the first ever AEW TNT Champion. Also, Hikaru Shida became the NEW AEW Women's World Champion, Jon Moxely took back his AEW World Championship from Mr. Brodie Lee, and Chris Jericho's Inner Circle were no match for "Broken" Matt Hardy and The Elite in the Stadium Stampede match main event. From what I saw, it would have been what WrestleMania 36 could have been if they held the event in an empty Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. As we continue to know when fans will be allowed back into wrestling events, let's see the rest of the Double or Nothing results in today's Max Sports rundown featuring another look at the upcoming 2020 NFL season.

Our Main Story this week picks up where we left off last week as we wondered "Will there be a vaccine for COVID-19, and if so, will it put an end to the pandemic?" Last week, we spoke about the efforts being made by the United Kingdom on the development of a vaccine and this week, as promised, we will see what the United States is planning to do for a vaccine. Many companies in the United States are working endlessly to make as many does as possible to the public, however, the U.S. Department of Health has another plan in mind. That is that US to invest $1.2 billion to secure a potential COVID-19 vaccine from AstraZeneca, the multinational pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical company located in Cambridge, England, Mölndal, Sweden and Gaithersburg, Maryland,. The U.S. Department of Health has gone on to it will pledge this money to accelerate AstraZeneca’s vaccine development in partnership with the University of Oxford and secure 300 million doses for the United States. There are four questions coming out of this report like: "Will 300 million does be nothing to save the country from COVID-19?", "When will this vaccine be made official?' and "Is the vaccine created AstraZeneca safe for the public?"Can it bring to end to the United States' suffering from the pandemic?" We'll all have to wait and see until human trials begin and confirmed data will tell us if the vaccine, now known as AZD1222, will be safe. Coming up now is a combined #TwitterTrend and Web Choice playlist showing some of the details of AZD1222 in development.
