This Week's UPDATES

My birthday last Wednesday was not what I expected and tell you why. My sister's car has broken down and was not fixed until yesterday, so instead of going to the mall with her, I went to Union Square in Manhattan with my own mother. Taking a bus and two trains wasn't any fun, but once we arrived, things got a lot more interesting. I bought tickets to see Birds of Prey the night before my birthday and my mother and I went to the Regal theater on Union Square, and of course I bought some popcorn and a drink of Sprite before the movie. Birds of Prey was a Grade A movie from start to finish, with a lot of laughs, language and women kicking @$$! The night before my birthday, I also made reservations for my mother and me to eat at Max Brenner's Chocolate Bar which is right across the street from the Regal theater, I remember coming here two years ago before seeing midnight previews of Black Panther, it was by far the best birthday of my life, and this year interesting enough almost topped it. All and all, it was another Happy Birthday for me, I don't know what the year holds for me now that I am 24-years-old, I can only imagine that things will turn okay by December 31, 2020. In the meantime, let's jump into this week's 7-Day Round-Up after a week of some depressing and somewhat surprising news stories.

Our Main Story this week takes a deep dive into the 2020 Presidential Primary as yesterday was the Nevada Democratic Caucus. We can say that with 60% reporting, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has won the 2020 Nevada Democratic caucuses, according to projections by NBC News, the Associated Press and other news outlets. Sanders received 46% of voting from Nevada and is also leading in the county delegate count, according to figures released by the Nevada state Democratic Party, gaining about seven delegates to take 34 - 22 lead over Pete Buttigieg. The Mayor of South Bend, Indiana came in third place with 15.3% of the votes, while former Vice President Joe Biden came in second place with 19.6%, so Mr. Biden is still hanging in their with the rest of the candidates. People have said that once Super Tuesday passes, it will become a two-person race for the Democratic nomination for President between Sanders and Buttigieg, unless Biden and the other candidates can turn things around in their favor as the next debate and primary both take place this week in South Carolina. But first, let's see what everyone's saying about the Nevada caucus in a political Web Choice playlist filled with important facts.
