This Week's UPDATES

There's something so good about the month of February, it could be because that in this day, Marvel Studios' Black Panther came out in theaters worldwide. It could also be because the NBA All-Star Weekend is taking place this month in Chicago, while the Super Bowl was just a few weeks ago. More importantly, it could be because it's Black History Month, last Friday was Valentine's Day, tomorrow is President's Day, and in a two more weeks it's Leap Day on February 29. But most of all, what I like about this month is the fact that my birthday is three days away, sure enough a lot of my favorite Celebrities have birthday before and after mine and even better one actresses was born on the same day as me. To name a few, there's Shakira (February 2), Nathan Lane (February 3), Tim Meadows (February 5), Chris Rock (February 7), Tom Hiddleston (February 9) Chloe Grace Moretz, Elizabeth Banks, and Emma Roberts all born on the same day (February 9). Next there's Thanos himself Josh Brolin (February 12), Elizabeth Oslen (February 16), LeVar Burton (February 16), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (February 17), Victoria Justice (February 19), Trevor Noah (February 20), Rihanna (February 20), Ellen Page (February 21), Drew Barrymore (February 21), Rachel Dratch (February 21) and Emily Blunt (February 22). So to all everyone this month, Happy Birthday and while I don't have any presents to give, I do have this week's 7-Day Round-Up before the fun begins in this new week.

Our Main Story this week concerns Endorsement, which according to the dictionary is an act of giving one's public approval or support to someone. A report came in from CNN yesterday that actor Keegan Michael-Key was set to announce his endorsement for Pete Buttigieg, the former Mayor of South Bend, Indiana who is running for President this year. However, CNN reporter DJ Judd later clarified what was really going on and that: "Keegan-Michael Key is joining Buttigieg on the campaign trail to support his campaign, they’ve now said the actor’s appearance will be solely to promote voter registration and early voting." The Buttigieg campaign later said actor Key has not endorsed any candidate, especially not Pete Buttigieg who is making quite the impact in the 2020 Democratic Presidential Primaries against such as Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar. An all-new #TwitterTrend is prep to show viewers what else there is know about between Buttigieg and Key and the days to follow.

“After touting Keegan-Michael Key's support for Pete Buttigieg, the campaign told CNN later Saturday that the actor will now appear at the Buttigieg campaign events simply to encourage early voting and voter registration”

Really strange. Wonder what happened.

Edge Nibbler @lib_crusher
wow I can't believe the Buttigieg campaign wrongly claimed that a black public figure endorsed their campaign

Key forgot to opt-out. That's how Pete's campaign works. If you don't opt-out, you endorse him by default.
