This Week's Updates Happy New Year 2020

Happy New Year to all of the #KlicKNet viewers out there, the first four days in 2020 have not been so great for me. The first weekend of 2020 was absolutely wild as yesterday the first two games of the 2020 NFL Playoffs were full of thrills and shocks. Everyone wonder if the Buffalo Bills win their first playoff game in two and a half decades and if the New England Patriots were still the same team that won last year's Super Bowl Championship. These two AFC East teams were taking on two AFC South teams in the Wild Card Round yesterday and just when it seemed that Bills and Patriots were about to prove all the doubters wrong, their respective opponents the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans surprised everyone. So now there are two more Wild Card games left that will determine a lot on the NFC side of the playoff bracket with the Minnesota Vikings vs the New Orleans Saints and then the Seattle Seahawks take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Find out what else is on the Max Sports Rundown table today by scrolling down below.

Our first Main Story of 2020 is about Marvel Studios which is set to have another great year after the success of Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home last year. This year, the studio will dish out Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with new movies Black Widow and The Eternals, and new series coming to Disney+, The Falcon and the Winter Solider and WandaVision. President and CCO Kevin Feige has been proud of what he and his team have accomplished and are currently mapping out what's next in the MCU, Feige took part in a Q&A session at the New York Film Academy and was aked about the MCU’s first transgender character is "coming soon.” While say the rumor was true, two sources told Variety that Feige was confirming more LGBTQ characters would be added to the MCU but did not mean to imply a transgender character specifically. From my perspective it's great to see that the LGBTQ community will be representative in Marvel Studios' films, and I think it would be very interesting as to how they will input a transgender character if they ever plan to do so in the near future. Check out the reaction from other people in an all-new #TwitterTrend for Marvel Fans everywhere, it feature earlier reports from last year about the talk about transgender characters in the MCU.

A student asked Marvel Studios pres. Kevin Feige if there were plans to add more LGBTQ characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, specifically transgender characters.

"Yes, absolutely yes," Feige said. "Very soon. In a movie we're shooting right now."

Sorry, folks: Two sources tell @Variety that Kevin Feige did not intend to confirm that a transgender character will appear "very soon" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Zach Barack, the first openly transgender actor in the Marvel Universe, says there needs to be more representation of his experience.
Out Magazine @outmagazine
@Marvel is reportedly looking to cast the role of “Jessica,” who is described as a trans woman of any ethnicity in her 20s or 30s.

AJ+ @ajplus
The new "Spider-Man" movie features Marvel's first openly transgender actor.

Zach Barack plays one of the web-slinger's classmates.

He says: "I didn't see a trans man on TV ever, ever, really, until I was like, 17."

"Getting to be part of that is beyond unreal."

Baby 'Voda @JimVejvoda
Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige's comments about the first transgender character coming "very soon" to the MCU have reportedly been misconstrued:

Jake Coyle @jakecoyleAP
Fwiw: Reports that a transgender character will soon be in a Marvel movie aren't accurate. Kevin Feige was asked broadly about LGBTQ characters and specifically about trans characters. His answer is to the former and alludes to the earlier announced gay character in The Eternals
