Our Main Story this week is about FOX News, the only place where the President goes to listen to the news and is not being chastised for his actions in power. While we're not going to talk about what Fox News as a whole is up to, I want to take this time to discuss some shocking news from last Friday on FOX News Channel and it looks like they're going to new a new anchor. Veteran journalist Shepard Smith announced his resignation from the news organization after 23 years of covering breaking news topics and of being with the network since its debut in 1996. Smith first hosted The Fox Report from 1999 to 2013, he was also the host of Studio B which started in 2002 and was the renamed Shepard Smith Reporting in 2013. For his entire career on Fox News Channel, Smith was one of the network's senior correspondents, managing editor, and chief news anchors and has now abruptly announced that he's leaving having realized that his journey in the news industry has reached a crossroad. On his last show last Friday, he stated that  he and his colleagues had "endeavored to deliver news reports to you [the viewers], while speaking truth to power without fear or favor, in context and with perspective." Fox News said in a press releases after Smith's announcement that "a series of rotating anchors will host the 3PM/ET time slot [on FNC] until a new dayside (or daytime) news program is announced. So while Fox News viewers wait to see who takes over for Shepard Smith in the near future, here's a special edition of #TwitterTrend showcasing the bombshell that has rocked the news industry.

Shepard Smith is the one person who has maintained his dignity, reputation, and standards while working for Fox News. Admiration to him

Chris Wallace rising #2

Q: Has *anyone* maintained dignity, reputation, etc while working for Fox’s counterpart, the Trump admin? I think: No

Joe Walsh @WalshFreedom
The facts. The truth. A free press. The things that should matter. Shep is a class act. Fox News is worse off. Godspeed @ShepNewsTeam
