This Week's UPDATES

I'm sure some of you are aware that there was not one, but two mass shootings in America. The first came from El Paso, Texas at a Walmart Superstore near the Cielo Vista Mall, and the second happened at the Ned Peppers Bar in the Oregon Historic District located in downtown Dayton, Ohio. Only 15 hours separate these two shootings and it's a complete shock that two shootings have occurred in the same day, but we cannot take such violent actions lying down as people, groups, and organizations such as March For Our Lives have shown that response with standing up to congress and demanding that they do something about these incident immediately. While we wait for the ramifications of these acts of violence to come, let's move on to this week's 7-Day Round-Up with some interesting topics on the board.

Our Main Story this week is a much more brighter story and it talks about the "Epic" announcement made by Universal Orlando Resort in Florida lats Thursday morning. Coming soon is Universal's Epic Universe, a brand new theme park that will be built on a large 750-acre site, near the Orange County Convention Center, and located a few miles from the existing Universal resort, coming down south of Sand Lake Road and east of Universal Boulevard. Not much was revealed about this new park expect where it will be located, and the executives of Comcast and Universal Parks & Resorts were nice enough to share a first look at the concept art and logo for Epic Universe which will feature at least four themed-lands, several amazing ride attractions, multiple dining and shopping areas, an entertainment center, and new hotels. Rumors are swirling this way and that we will a Super Nintendo World in Epic Universe, as well as lands themed to Fantastic Beasts, Dreamworks' How to Train Your Dragon, and Classic Universal Monsters, this is all according to the concept art which clearly points out the obvious. Universal has promised to give more details on the new park at a later time, but some theme park goers are questioning the timing of this "Epic" announcement which happened weeks before Disney's D23 Expo coming to the Anaheim Convention Center in California.
