Our Main Story this week is all about San Diego Comic-Con International and some of the best announcements to come out of this weekend-long event. Let's begin with DC which would revealed what shows are coming to the DC Universe and what's to be come of the Arrowverse on The CW. We can expect more Young Justice, more Titans, and more Doom Patrol coming later on in the future, as well as new series like Harley Quinn, and let's not forget about Pennyworth coming to Epix. During the panels for Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl, DC fans were greeted with a look back at each show and how they have grown over the years on The CW which released new trailers about each show but held back on revealing anything about Batwoman. The female caped crusader has been somewhat the talk of the town this weekend as we learned that many villains from the Batman universe are coming to Batwoman this Fall, including the one called Hush.

As for Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige wasn't scared what the future holds for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but before that he announced that Avengers: Endgame is the Highest Grossing film of All-Time with $2.79 Billion Dollars, enough to beat out Avatar, Fiege then revealed the Phase 4 slate for 2020 and 2021. This is quite alright because with the 2019 D23 Expo coming in about a month and can Marvel Studios can reveal what I believe will be the second half of Phase Four. The first half is gonna go off with a bang next year with Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson coming to theaters May 1, 2020 and then a new addition to the MCU on November 6, 2020, with Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, Brian Tyree Henry, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Lia McHugh and Don Lee as The Eternals. The movie will be directed by Chloé Zhao which makes her the first woman to direct a MCU film solo. Then, Kevin Feige revealed MCU content coming to the Disney + streaming service coming soon such as The Falcon and The Winter Solider that'll debut in Fall 2020 and starring Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Daniel Brühl. Another first time MCU director was revealed, his name is Destin Daniel Cretton and he will be in charge of bringing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021 with Awkwafina in an undisclosed role, Tony Leung as the (real) Mandarin, Simu Liu as the title role. Next up was WandaVision coming to Disney + in Spring 2021 and with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany coming back as Scarlet Witch and Vision and Teyonah Parris whos has been chosen to play the adult version of Monica Rambeau from Captain Marvel.

If anyone was more MCU series to the Disney + service, then they can stay tuned for Tom Hiddleston as Loki who will return in Spring 2021. Then on May 7, 2021, it's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange and Scott Derrickson returning as director, and featuring an appearance by  the Scarlet Witch herself, Elizabeth Olsen. Next up, the MCU will take a trip down the world of Animation with the first Marvel Studios animated series What If with Jeffrey Wright as The Watcher during the Summer of 2021 on Disney +. But that's not all because also coming to Disney + in Fall 2021 is Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye with the introduction of Kate Bishop. Last but not least is the fourth installment of Thor known as Thor: Love and Thunder with Taika Waititi returning as director and maybe even Korg, and we can expect Chris Hemsworth as you-know-who. But get this, Tessa Thompson is returning as Valkyrie who will translate as the first LGBTQ character in the MCU, and Natalie Portman will return as Jane Foster who will become the Mighty Thor, goddess of Thunder; all of this coming our way on November 5, 2021. Like I said, this is only the first half of Phase 4, Kevin Feige did promise sequels to Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well the Fantastic Four, Mutants, and a big time shocker to close out the presentation, Mahershala Ali was announced to be playing Blade on the big screen. For a moment, every thought that Marvel Studios was releasing seven movies in 2021, see what's that all about in an explosive #TwitterTrend starting now.
