This Week's UPDATES

BREAKING NEWS LAST NIGHT: The New Orleans Pelicans finally granted Anthony Davis' wish to be traded, he will now go the Los Angeles Lakers and team up with LeBron James. Meanwhile the Pelicans will receive Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first round draft picks, one of them includes the Lakers' No. 4 pick in this Thursday's Draft Night. This story is making sports headline everywhere, I cannot begin to tell you how I feel about all of this, but it certainly affects the 2019-20 NBA Season as we've somewhat entered into the off-season. The Lakers are planning to add more stars to their roster during free agency period, I honestly can't wait to see what they say about the trade tomorrow on ESPN's Get Up and First Take, but I have two other announcements that I want to get to. First, I did superb in my first session at college with session II coming up tomorrow, and I have one many of the credits I need to graduate from the three spring classes that I attended. The second announcement is that thanks to my Facebook account, I have a new account on Instagram which I have never used before, but I'm willing to give it a try and I maybe able to add my blog posts on Instagram as I do on Facebook and Twitter. While I try to think of a plan for Instagram, here for all of you #KlicKNet viewers is a new 7-Day Round Up.

Our Main Story this weeks concerns the 2020 Presidential Election, more particularly the Democratic presidential primary debates. Last week, we learned who has qualified for the two-night event on June 26 and 27 in Miami, Florida with 20 Democratic candidates will take the debate stage in two groups of ten, they are as followed, the orange group: Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee. Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Former Maryland Rep. John Delaney.. Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro. Ohio Congressman Tim Ryan, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. As for the rest, they are the purple group: Former Vice President Joe Biden, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, California Sen. Kamala Harris, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand. Former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, California Rep. Eric Swalwell. spiritual author Marianne Williamson and entrepreneur Andrew Yang. There's a certain joke about these two groups and we all want to know why did the Democrats pick the colors Orange and Purple. People have their own opinions about all of this and we'll be able to hear them in a new political #TwitterTrend.

I don't know why they didn't use complimentary colors. Purple and yellow, or orange and blue, or green and red. Missed opportunity.

Seth Simons @sasimons
throughout all of history there have been two groups. purple and orange

Jim Geraghty @jimgeraghty
Democrats Purple and Democrats Orange sounds like when they tried to divide too many characters into X-Men Blue and X-Men Gold.

Becca Lundberg @becca__lundberg
Purple and orange? Why does it sound like politicians are being divided into middle school kickball teams? 😂

Robinson Meyer @yayitsrob
okay.

purple is the favorite for dodgeball, the water-balloon toss, and the donut-eating relay

orange looks better on kickball, 5-on-5 soccer, and the egg-and-spoon race

tug-of-war and the sack race seem like the big toss-ups. i’d say this field day is either team’s to lose.

Julia @dumbestkopf
Remember when you were assigned the purple reading group, but your friend was assigned orange and at that moment you realized you were better than them?

James Arkin @JamesArkin
Does anyone have a readout on why Orange and Purple ? Cc
@ZachMontellaro

James Arkin @JamesArkin
This makes perfect sense thank you

Scott Bland @PoliticoScott
That's the color of the propeller beanies the candidates will be wearing, I believe

Evan McMorris-Santoro @EvanMcS
they should have to wear purple and orange jerseys at the debates, and keep em on through Iowa.

The Orange Team will win tug-of-war but the Purple Team will get points for camp spirit

Jim Geraghty @jimgeraghty
Purple and Orange will fight each other in the sequel.
