Today's UPDATES

I said it before and I'll say it again, history was going to be made at Super Bowl LIII last night, not only did the New England Patriots win the sixth Championship in franchise history, but they did it in the the lowest-scoring game in Super Bowl history. Today, I am combining all three "news pieces" on #KlicKNet to bring you this BREAKING story and everything else that happened during the game, that includes a Max Sports rundown, #TwitterTrend on one key highlight of the Super Bowl, and a Web Choice playlist of some of the best commercials such as new movies coming soon. At the start off the game, Tom Brady was picked off in his first pass attempt by Los Angeles Rams linebacker Cory Littleton for an interception, although either team would score a goal in the first quarter as the first attempt came from Patriots Kicker Stephen Gostkowski who missed a 46-yard field goal. However, he was able to nail a 42-yard field goal successfully to give the Patriots an 3-0 lead in the second quarter, it was the second lowest halftime score in Super Bowl history and the lowest since the 2-0 halftime score in Super Bowl IX after the 1974 season. In the entire first half, the Rams had gained just 57 yards and 2 first downs, both record lows for Rams head coach Sean McVay and it was also the first time that his team had ever been shut out in a first half of any game. Brady was sacked for the first time in the Super Bowl by defensive end John Franklin-Myers and fumbled the ball, but the Rams could not recover it, much less recover in the second, but before we get into that, let's talk about the Super Bowl Halftime Show with Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi.

Despite the fans in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium going crazy for these musical artists, there was a lot of criticisms from various news and media outlets who called the performance absolutely "terrible", "lackluster", "boring" and the "dullest ... most underwhelming and instantly forgettable halftime show of all time." Fans wanted to see them perform "Sweet Victory" in order to pay tribute to the creator of SpongeBob Stephen Hillenburg whp passed away in November, but all we got  instead was an animation featuring Squidward, Mr. Krabs, Mrs. Puff, SpongeBob, Patrick, and brief footage of the Bikini Bottom band from the iconic episode "Band Geeks", being used to introduce Travis Scott's appearance. Viewers of the halftime show (like me) were critical of the show's lack of incorporation of "Sweet Victory" per the request of of an online petition's, and they found the brief SpongeBob segment to be a poor tribute to Hillenburg, well at least some people were smart enough to switch over from football to wrestling when WWE broadcast the revival of Halftime Heat on the WWE Network, YouTube and other social media platforms. A Six-Tag team match took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with the team of Aleister Black, Ricochet and Velveteen Dream outmatched the team of Adam Cole, NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. Speaking of being outmatched, that exactly what would happen to the Rams who despite getting a 53-yard field goal from their Kicker Greg Zuerlein, were unable to break the 3-3 tie in their favor. It was the first Super Bowl ever with no touchdowns made by either team in the first three quarters, that all changed when Sony Michel scored on a 2-yard touchdown run to make it 10-3 Patriots, they were able to add to the lead when Jared Goff threw a pass that was intercepted by Stephon Gilmore on the Rams' 3-yard line. After that, Stephen Gostkowski hit a 41-yard field goal, and even though that this was first Super Bowl in fifty years to not have any team throw a touchdown pass, a 13-3 lead was more than enough for Brady, Bill Belichick and the Patriots to pick up the victory win their 6th Super Bowl Championship, plus, wide receiver Julian Edelman, who caught 10 passes for 141 yards, was named Super Bowl MVP.

We will be going over the record that were made last night in tomorrow I hope, but let's move on to those Super Bowl commercials that I have been talking about all week. Things began with a BIG BANG, or should I say a BIG SNAP, for Marvel Studios blew over minds with a new look at Avengers: Endgame as the tagline for this new spot was as simple as this: "Some people move on, But not us, NOT US!" That's the Avengers are not just gonna moving on after they failed to defeat Thanos and prevent him from carrying out his sinister scheme, NO SIREE BOB, IT'S GO TIME for the AVENGERS and this time they mean business. Captain Marvel and Toy Story 4 got into the spotlight last night in the Super Bowl as we saw they they're not messing around either, especially not from a couple of Ducks and Bunnies. To point out, the first trailer for Fast & Furious presents: Hobbs & Shaw appeared on Friday while a new TV spot came out last night, but I kinda like the full-length trailer better, and aside from the Doritos commercial with Chance the Rapper and the Backstreet Boys, my other favorite commercials were the M&M's Chocolate Bars, Planters featuring Mr. Peanut, the Pringles Sad Device and Pepsi with Steve Carell and Cardi B. Now let's looks at the results from not just one game but many others from yesterday, the reaction to that poor tribute to the Creator of SpongeBob, and those amazing TV Spots that still have us talking up a storm.
