Today's UPDATES

This is the final week before #KlicKNet begins its new journey on Sundays and Sunday only, let it also be known that this Tuesday is my 23rd Birthday and I'm really looking forward to this one after last year was a hit. You know what else that has been a hit? I'll give you a hint: it's the subject of today's Max Sports rundown. That's right, it's NBA All-Star Weekend 2019, we saw Celebrities go at it in the All-Star Celebrity Game last Friday with Viral comedian Famous Los winning the MVP award after having to make 22 points. In the Rising Stars Challenge, Team USA overpowered Team World as Kyle Kuzma of the Lakers and Jayson Tatum of the Celtics both put 30 points for USA, the former of course won the MVP award in this game. Last Night was all about NBA All-Star Saturday Night starting with the Skills Challenge tournament, the first round bouts went like this Jason Tatum defeated Mike Conley, Nikola Jokic defeated Nikola Vucevic (Battle of the Nikolas), Luka Doncic defeated Kyle Kuzma, and Trae Young defeated De'Aaron Fox. The Semifinals had Tatum beating Jokic and Young beating Doncic, the two finalists squared off in the last round and Tatum won over Young to become a Skills Challenge Champion. The Three-Point Contest was my must-see event on my watchlist last night because the Brooklyn Nets' Joe Harris was putting on the a clinic when putting up 25 points to make to the Top 3 and the next round with Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry who made 27 points and Buddy Hield of the Sacramento Kings who would advanced with 26 points. In the final round, Buddy Hield was unable to win with only 19 points, Joe Harris put up 26 points, and the Master of 3-Pointer Steph Curry was unable to catch him with 24 points, meaning a Brooklyn Net defeated a Warrior in the Three-Point Contest, how bout that?! Finally last night was the Slam Dunk Contest with the OKC Thunder's Hamidou Diallo racking up 98 points and Dennis Smith Jr. of the New York Knicks who made 95 to advance to the nest round where anything can happen, both players were very creative in their respective Dunk attempts, but it's a shame that the Knicks couldn't even win this event as they have been so terrible lately, in the end the Thunder's Hamidou Diallo defeated Dennis Smith Jr. 88-85 points to win his first ever Slam Dunk Contest Championship. With all that rush from last night, we now head into the the 2019 NBA All-Star Game on TNT in which Team LeBron takes on Team Giannis for Player's supremacy and who knows what we'll see in this one tonight.

Last Thursday, Nickelodeon announced its slate of new programming and content this year in 2019, led by the network's newest president and Nickelodeon Veteran in his own right, Brian Robbins. Some of these new shows will begin to debut on Nick’s platforms this summer, oh of whom you may remember for childhood, so far my favorites are considered to be SpongeBob as he celebrates his 20th anniversary on TV this year with the “Best Year Ever,” a tribute that includes an original one-hour special, “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout,” premiering on Friday, July 12. Nickelodeon is also planning to expand SpongeBob's universe with spin-offs focused on some of the core characters of the show into formats such as new series, specials and feature-length movies. The anniversary will then culminate with the May 22, 2020 release of the new SpongeBob Movie, It’s A Wonderful Sponge. My next favorite is Are You Afraid of the Dark? returning to Nickelodeon in an all-new miniseries this October, new members of the Midnight Society will gather around the campfire in the woods to share all-new scary stories, as the miniseries is said to will coincide with the D. J. Caruso-directed Are You Afraid of the Dark? movie, coming to theaters October 11th. Finally, this was something that every '90s kid wanted for a long time, and now it's FINALLY HAPPENING, for Brian Robbins, one of the Brains behind the mega-hit sketch comedy All That announced that ALL THAT IS COMING BACK in an epic revival with Kenan Thompson, one of the first original cast members as one of the executive producers along with Kevin Kay. While it has been said that the show will have an all-new set of cast members and all-new sketches, Nickelodeon is expected to have not only Kenan but other former cast members to make appearances in the series, who knows we might see Kel Mitchell, Josh Server, Danny Tamberelii, Lori Beth Denberg, and even Amanda Bynes all on Nickelodeon once again. The reboot sill begin this Summer, but until then see what the reaction for the return of All That has been like in this all-new #TwitterTrend.

Dan Schneider was executive producer of All That from season 3 until its cancellation & his company was the production company for the show for its final season. @BrianRobbinsTV will Dan be involved in any way (creatively OR financially) with the new version of All That?

I hope it’s not ruined but Kenan should know what he’s doing

Some people may or may not know what All That was like back in the early days of its original run on Nickelodeon, so here's a Super Special ALL THAT Web Choice playlist. During the same time they announced that the was coming back, they also put an official YouTube channel for All Things "ALL THAT"  and the #KlicKNet viewers will be able to see what made this show the Saturday Night Live for Kids. I remember watching All that after I came home from school, all the sketches and musical guests had me feeling like a '90s kid, and I hope to feel that again once the show returns this summer.
