Today's UPDATES

NXT TakeOver does what it does best, put on a five-star show! Last night, the Superstars of NXT came to Phoenix, Arizona the night before the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble for NXT TakeOver: Phoenix and it was scorching hot. In this Max Sports rundown, we're going to talk all fives matches on the card last night and how they tell the next chapter for the NXT Brand which has been on a roll everywhere it goes, first was the NXT Tag Team Titles match between Hanson and Rowe aka the War Raiders and The Undisputed Era's Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong, The Era came out of the gate attacking the Raiders from in and outside the ring, they took a couple of advantages to ensure that the Tag Team Titles would they with said Era. But it would not be enough to keep the War Raiders, they were spectacular and in the end, they put and End to the Era and won the Tag Championships in front of a wild crowd in Phoenix, then it was Matt Riddle vs Kassius Ohno, this has been so personal as Ohno has been sick of NXT newcomers like Riddle stealing his attention so he decided to give him a piece of his mind. The only thing that Ohno got from Matt Riddle was a piece of his own anger, and then he forced Ohno to submit whilst executing Arm Trap Elbow Strikes to win, more Championships were on the line from this point at TakeOver: Phoenix starting with the NXT North American Championship was on the line in a sensational affair between Ricochet and Johnny Gargano. These two men have known each for over a decade, Johnny was bringing his dark side to life right before our very eyes and with the help of a Suplex onto  exposed concrete and two Slingshot DDTs on Ricochet, Johnny TakeOver would win the North American title. Next we had the NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler defending the championship against Bianca Belair, this one lived up to all the hype, Belair should how powerful she was to overcome Baszler, but only for a few moments as Baszler was all over her opponent. When Belair would attempt a 450 Splash from the top rope, Baszler would counter with the Kirifuda Clutch, causing Belair to pass out and meaning that would Baszler retain the Women's Championship and the UN-DE-FEA-TED would be UN-DE-FEA-TED-NO-MORE! On to the main event, it was Tommaso Ciampa vs Aleister Black for the NXT Championship, things got really intense in a hurry and soon completely ugly, so many near-falls were in this match that it was impossible to keep both men down for a 3-Count. Despite a massive Black Mass  from a left leg injured Aleister Black, Ciampa would hit an Elevated DDT and multiple Fairy Tale Ending finisher to put away Black and train the NXT Championship. Such another great NXT Event, and it's gonna get even better with NXT TakeOver: New York coming in April during WrestleMania Weekend, and we are on the road to WrestleMania as it is with the Royal Rumble coming our way tonight from Chase Field in Phoenix, so stay tuned for that.

History was made in a NBA Saturday Primetime game on ABC between between two potential NAB Finalists, the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. This game took place at the TD Garden in Boston, and as you can probably guess, the Warriors beat the Cletics, but only by four points as the final score was 115-111. The real history making moment resides with Golden Sate Head Coach Steve Kerr for that win gave him his the title of becoming the fastest coach in NBA history to reach 300 wins, he has lost only 77 games in his tenure as a member of Golden State's coaching staff. According to ESPN, Kerr has participated in 377 games as head coach and won 300; faster than any other head coach in the NBA, and in the MLB, NFL, and NHL. He also broke Pat Riley's NBA record for fewest losses at the time of his 300th win, Riley has loss 116 games as a head coach when he would earn his 300th win, so Congratulations to Steve Kerr and to that extent, here's a special #TwitterTrend of NBA fans and ESPN analysts who have been impressed with his excellent with the back-to-back NBA Champions Warriors.

I kinda been loving to show construction updates from Disneyland Resort seeing how the first Disneyland Park in history is long overdue for another makeover. With Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is still being constructed and the Sleeping Beauty Castle going under renovations, it best to look at what else is happening at the California Resort with another installment of the Web Choice playlist with a bunch of footage at the on-going progress of Marvel-themed Land.
